NOS original pto shaft maybe?
Hi guys I was going through my friends barn and found a pto shaft. I thought wow. Right next to it was an IH wax paper wrapper. Then I find the box right next to it. This was on a dirt floor type barn but lucky it was on a piece of plywood. Is a cadet or a farmall part. There is only a part of the n...

Re: Mower deck not coming up to speed
:dontknow: are the spindle covers off? Take a look at the deck tensioner. It should be spring loaded. If the belts are tight I would think the clutch is slipping. Usually if belts where loose or slipping the belts would burn loose belts would get the deck up to speed but when you go to cut grass the...

Re: Mower deck not coming up to speed
What makes you think the deck is not coming up to speed. 1st some questions? Have you used the deck before? Is the belt slipping? Is the deck belt tension correct? Do you smell rubber burning? Is the pto getting hot from the clutch slipping? I think if anything was slipping you would smell something...

Re: 1450 loader
Dave I don't think that was a special bolt. But I would definitely use washers on both sides and use a nylock nut. Not sure if it was 1/4 or 5/16. If you want to get the correct bolt I could look tomorrow.

Re: 3205 with a BIG snow blower!
Joe Kawi are notorious for intake/exhaust valve problems. Valves are soft and the seat goes away real quick. I've done several on them but it was the fb 420 and 460 engines.

Re: 59M Shredder-Grinder
Here are some pictures. Now I remember I had to switch the hammers shaft because it was too short on the other side. I just fliped it in the drum. Rotating the hammers don't matter what direction they spin. I got a cast iron pulley because the stamped steel 1 bent. If you have any questions just ask...

Re: 59M Shredder-Grinder
Chris, I have a coverted 59m from a mackissic chipper shreader. I got lucky 1 year at a swap meet and found all the mounting pieces for a 59m but the 2 ears that mount to the tractor. I made that out of tracing from a mule drive set up. Worked out great. I dont use it anymore but I still have it. I ...
