Re: Found another Cub

Max , Nice..... Just a couple of questions , does that piece of steel across the front of the 70's deck affect the mowers cut ? I would think it might aid in creating an updraft to raise the blades of grass ? Doesn't seem to effect the cutting but it does strengthen the front of the deck if ...

Found another Cub

I just added a second Cub to my garage. It is a nice little 70 with a great running motor (wrong air cleaner & seat I know). Luckily it had the creeper gear and new AG tires. I've since located a correct pan seat and the rear reflectors. This 70 will be my summer machine, the 102 will do winter duty...

Mike, I have a Brinly I could throw on the back, when and where is the plow day? I didn't read about that. Lew, Yes, I had a new grommet I used. A cab would be awesome if I can find one. My 102 is an early one and has the oops pedal, the hood spring w/loop on the battery box, and also the front heat...

New lights and a snow thrower on the 102

Well today I got the snow thrower finished and mounted, as well as installed a set of lights I bought from a member here on the forum. I completely went through the snow thrower with new bearings, chain, U-joints, belt, ect. I also installed a new header decal when the lights were installed. Next sp...

Re: Spark plugs and a good ground

JIm. If I recall thats called indexing spark plugs. I've done that 30 years ago on race cars. If it makes a difference in our little engines I dont know. I never bothered. As long as it wasn't a chump(champion) plug. Just screw it in. OK Lew and Chumlee will chime in!! Yes, it is called indexing. T...

Hi randy I built a loader using the PF engineering plans for my 104 cub cadet it works great lifts about 500lbs and the plans were easy to follow .I did beef up the towers and arms, the spindle upgrade is a must not too difficult to do on a 149. The old "simple project turned total resto" routine. BTDT quite a few times  . August must be Attachment Refurbish Month or something. Anyway, real nice looking thorough job there. Thought I would post some pictures of my QA36 snow thrower restoration. What started as a little project, turned out to be a wee bit more. IH CC decal options

After restoring my QA36 snow thrower, what are my options for reproduction decals? I know I could have a printer custom make me some, but I would rather buy from a vendor online.
