Re: Haban sickle mower parts

The shaft is about 1/2 inch , I have not actually measured it yet and your right It's not the end of the world once the new pulley is welded in place it will work just fine.

I'll be looking for a lift next year right now its all about making this Haban sickle bar operable.

Distaster has struck  , while removing old rusty stuck pulley the main shaft end about 1 inch in length snapped off :( there is most likely enough shaft left to weld a new pulley on but I am so PO'ed for busting the shaft

Re: Haban sickle mower parts

What do you need? Many parts need to be found used teeth can be had at TSC belts and pulleis too. You may need to custom make some parts if you cant find them. Just getting started on the old worn Haban , so far I need the large pulley and the teeth. I will Check my local TSC for the teeth, Thanks

Look where Kev said. None of mine work I just jumped them out. That should be the only one on the tractor.

I like the way the NF's look, just no room to work on them.
I will check it out tomorrow and post back what I find, fingers are crossed for a bad switch........

Re: 104 safety switches

Take a look at the clutch. When you press it there's a long thin tab on the clutch shaft that presses a small safety switch in the frame. This is the only safety on that tractor. The tab is known to break, is sometimes out of adjustment, and is usually just by-passed. I try to get the ones on mine ...
