Cables are still available. Just got a new throttle cable from Messicks for my 1572. I think the shutdown said available too.

Re: IH Registry Days and Members
I was on the old Registry site too but only check in here from time to time and definitely don't post very often. This past weekend at PA Plowday was hanging out with some other old registry guys, Bud Horn, Mike Marzullo, Engine Mike, Dave Chester and Steve Townsend. The IH Registry is always discus...

This was the former MD Line VFC show reorganized and in a new location. Information can be found on Facebook under the name...

Re: Predator Engines
Add another predator to my list. The five horse Briggs on my trac-vac finally died doing leaves. I put on a 6 horse predator. Everything bolted right up for the vac perfectly but had to modify the exhaust on the new engine. It works great and will load twice as many leaves between fill ups

Re: 782D Brinly 3 point rockshaft
Ok here's the finished product, all works great but the real test will come at plow day in the spring. I have a few finishing adjustments to do to the Brinly hoop and have to make some lift straps.

Re: Predator Engines
I've used several on snow blowers and tillers with no issues. They are definitely clones of the older Honda engines and its hard to beat the price. Just put one on a MTD rear tine tiller for a customer, it had a 5 horse briggs on it missing the shroud and recoil and needing a crb rebuild, the parts ...

Here's a little more progress. Made the lift bar as a copy of a 782 gas just 4" longer and finished my rockshaft.

That is an old school Bridgeport style milling machine not quite set it and forget it. I did small cuts but could have done it all in one shot. My dad and Steve T said I should sell them but I like to keep it one off custom

That's pretty cool Denny. Intenternationals are pretty tough, our snow plow drivers perform "durability" tests on the county trucks all the time

Thanks Dave, I guess I should show my cardboard template I started with. The cool part is it's all made from scraps from under one of the welders workbenches at my job. It also helps to have the equipment we have at work for metal fabrication.

Re: Getting too old for this stuff .
Jess raising the bed is the way we always put pumps in when I was at the car dealer. There are kits available with all the brake lines in stainless steel. The coated lines are ok but still are steel and if the coating gets nicked they will rust. I also like using copper/nickel brake line when I make...

782D Brinly 3 point rockshaft
Here's my try to custom make and install the cub cadet style 3 point on my 782D. I really didn't want to spend what everyone wants for a cat "0" three point and the A frame just to use my current Brinly attachments. I will add pics as I go until it is done.

Re: MD Line VFC Tractor & Engine show
Dave the 147 has loaded rear tires with weights that are at least 75# plus my big but. Usually around 1425 but I didn't have on my front weight for plowing. Next mission is to get Tom to bring one to this show next year...he could almost drive one there

Thanks for the pics Tom glad you had a good time. It was great to meet you and yes you would have had fun pulling here. My 147 weighed in at 1380 pounds and pulled as good as a 430 Deere.

Went over my diesel and it only seems to need a throttle cable and a battery to bring it up to par. Added new V61s yesterday with loaded ags next
