Hey Scott,
Good to see you back!
I would love to live the golden days again too but I fear that is water under the bridge.

Re: Hello from Georgia
Yeah, many seem to like facebook more, personally I tolerate it because my kinfolk are on there. However there is also a LOT of trash there. Used to be a lot of folks on here, however as we all age some pass away, others just lose interest and worse is the lack of younger folks who want to get into...

Re: We really have it lucky on this site.
Hey guys, good to see both of you post. I agree, manufacturers are becoming very protective of their information, even some that is relatively old. I'm very grateful I had my collection in the "Golden Era", back when parts were everywhere, parts people knew what we were working on and the...

Nice Ken...that little briggs looks fun. My first motor go cart was made of some scrap wood and grandmas old reel mower engine. I was pretty young so i think dad did most of the work. He obviously did the gear ratios as well...cause it was about as fast as the reel mower. I was not wearing my helme...

Welcome!
Glad you found us!
Be patient as there isn’t the traffic here there used to be but we do have some pretty smart guys that hang around.
Hopefully knowing it was made by Mitsubishi will help you find your part.

Charlie, I cannot help with photos but you bring to mind some names not heard in a while.
Has anyone seen or heard from Jim Chabot, Skott, Timmy D, Doog, Jess,TC?
I know Ohio plow day is coming up and hopefully it will bring some people out of the woods.

One thing I am diligent about is once I'm done mowing I use compressed air and blow everything of and out well. This also gives me a chance to notice any other issues.

Thanks!
Local guy needs a 3 point. I have the bar, the "pin block" and this spring assist.
It's been so long since I have messed with most of this stuff that it has faded from my memory.

Re: 2084 SGT
Took it back apart and found a bent rod and a valve seat that came apart. Ordered a used head off of eBay which came complete. Replaced the head . It appears that the possible cause of the breakdown was overheating due to a large mouse nest packed in between flywheel and head causing engine to ove...

Re: Possible fuel issue
I have a 1971 Ford 4000SU with a 3cyl gas engine. These are known for being cold blooded and using a poorly designed Holley carb. Since I bought it I have had trouble with it acting up.....extremely cold blooded, lots of back firing and generally poor performance. I decided that I was no longer goin...

Re: 2084 SGT
Hopefully you find a simple fix. Tom's statement about having a shop do the work makes me think of a situation of a long time Cub friend locally. He has a 1650 and had the engine rebuilt. It has never seemed to have the power he expected. After a number of years he contacted the shop that did the wo...

I had a 126 that I had planned to make a plow day tractor. Rebuilt and slightly hopped up engine, liquid filled ags and hydraulic lift. Life gets in the way and the tractor is gone, sold the hydraulic lift system and the assembled engine sits on my workbench. The times I did plow with it it worked v...
