Re: Cub Cadet 73

Looking good Steve. Just what is it that you are going to put on the front of that gem? You mentioned it in one of your posts but never said what it was. Wish I'd have known you wanted one. I've been thinking of selling mine.

"Miss out"....... Chad.....i see a bunch of tractors listed on your signature, and with some of the ones I see listed.....u r not missing out. LOL!! I gotta say that most of the tractors in my signature are my dads. At least right now. They'll be mine someday. I only have the 73, 100 and 107 at the...

Re: 1863, whats one worth?

Well I don't know what will happen at this point. I told him the information that dag posted the other day as I have no idea on their value cause I've never really looked for one myself. I will say I expected it to be a higher number personally, but again I don't know what they're bringing right now...

1863, whats one worth?

Howdy guys, been quite a long time since I've been around here. My father in law is selling his 1863 and is not sure what it is worth. I have not dealt too much with Cyclops machines and I am not sure what the going rate is on them right now. It's a 1994 model with 358 original hours on it. He is th...

Finally have everything away and able to sit down and relax. Good seeing all you guys. Like Joe said I didn't get to talk to everybody today as I was too busy plowing all day. I left at 5:30 and there was still ground to plow if you wanted. As luck would have it just by shear dumb luck I got to be t...

Mike I would think they should be the same as the ones at Riverside. They are river bottom ground on the north branch of the susquehanna river. I know where the fields are located and have drove by them before but never been into them before.

I will be there both days hopefully. Should be a great place to plow at, still river bottom ground as before. A little further away for me this year as well. Hopefully the weather turns a bit warmer for us and is consistent. Can't wait for it to get here.

I am hoping that the show goes well. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask as my dad and I are in charge of the Cub Cadet end of the show. The chapter just had a meeting today on the show, however I was unable to attend so I don't have the latest information.

k241 to k301, whats involved?

I know this topic has been brought up before but I am wondering. Can a K241 be bored out to a K301 and be reliable to use or will it not except that big of a piston? Is there anything else that needs changed to make it happen. I think I remember this subject in the past that it could be done but the...

Ray thats a nice unit there. Since we are talking tractors with three points and PTO's I gots a question. One I'm pretty sure I know the answer to. Was the 782 EVER offered with either a 3 point or a 2000 RPM PTO? At least by IH?

Re: Here's your next - WHAT IS IT?

They look to me like the wheel weights that came with the grass baggers for MTD 800 series Garden tractors back in the late 90's, early 2000's. Something that would be labeled as a yardman or a huskee or such. I remember putting a set of those on a tractor we sold for a customer when I worked at TSC...

I recently brought home two off topic tractors. The price for the 2 of them was less than 200 bucks so I couldn't pass them up. They are a pair of Massey Ferguson's, a model 7G and a model 12H. A gear drive and a Hydro respectively. I have always been a bit of a fan of the big MF tractors styling fr...

I did some looking at the manuals and the one I have is for a wide frame. If I get the proper piece that attches to the lift bar, would it work? If you change the deck hanger and hardware in the picture that Joe posted to ones from a narrow frame then YES it WILL work. I have a quick attach deck on...

Way to go Cory and she looks good steve. Tires arent a matched set but look like the tread is down to a good height for pullin. Re: critique my hold downs on my trailer & new ramps built

I would say that the 2" strap is not needed if your just using it to help hold down the tractor allthough it allows for extra security. I use four of the small style ratchet straps on my cubs when I haul them and have never had a problem with them. Only thing I would definately do different is the s...

Mike thats the easiest way to do it. No watching the hole, set the trap and leave and wait. I know of people that have 5 or 6 of those traps and catch as many groundhogs a week during the summer.

Todd, the mods look good. You do very nice work on your machinery. Thanks for the help this afternoon. I can't say that the end results were any better though. Just can't seem to get the plow to track right. Found a manual on Brinly Hardys website and hopefully following that will give better results.
