Re: Baker farm got a BIG Upgrade this week.

So it was a good Christmas for ole BB. Not only did he get his own 15' Batwing, he also procured his very first dual tandem gooseneck. The 1997 GMC pulled it all home pretty well. This should allow me to haul a few pieces of machinery if I need too as well as haul off scrap, and the bush hog will be...

Nice. Utube is great. One thing your video was missing....or I missed if u did ( I may have skipped some....lol) a walk around of the beast. That let's us know what your riding on. Good job though! That would of required me to get out of the AC! :) The 15 is a heck of a tractor. I am amazed at how ...

Re: Baker farm got a BIG Upgrade this week.

This happened a couple weeks ago. It's a 1979 Red Power Demonstrator. I too am a 1979 vintage so I am stoked to have finally gotten one.

This make 4 big red tractors 986, 1086, 1486, and now a 1586. I think I am officially done.

Re: Baker farm got a BIG Upgrade this week.

Picked up a one owner low hour (4700) 986 a few weeks ago. It's in really good shape just needs the paint touched up some. New radials on the back and new front tires. AC isn't currently working so I need to dive into that. Sold the previous 986 in favor of keeping this one. So that currently has me...

Re: Baker farm got a BIG Upgrade this week.

Dave good to see you over here. I agree but also tend to like all tractors regardless of color. So much of it is personal preference anyway. I just always wanted a IH 86 series tractor, specifically a 986. But I'd also like to have a 2-105 White and an 8830 or TW-10 Ford as well. Or a Boxcar 4WD Mag...

This early 986 came home a couple weeks ago as well. 986 is what I originally wanted. It's rough but runs good and seems to all work like it should.

Re: CC 3185/3165 and a 3240 project.

I'm down to just two 3K tractors. Both 3240 models. I have for them two 48" decks and a 60". I also have two snow blades, one blower, and the hydraulic tiller. I also have a 3pt for each tractor and quad hydraulics but haven't yet gotten all that installed. Those two along with my ole 782 is all the...

Re: Baker farm got a BIG Upgrade this week.

Bryan, have you also graduated to a goose neck trailer? From what I can see in the picture, that's quite an upgrade from your other trailer. No not yet. That trailer is a company trailer that is part of my other "adopted" family. My best childhood friend Kieth hauled the monster home for me. It's a...

Time flies when your having fun. I mow every week with a 3240 and I still love that tractor. 48" deck mows really well, and I use it to move my trailer. Haven't taken it to a plow day yet, but one of these days probably will! :)

That's a nice looking tractor, Bryan. However, it would look better in red. And looks like the front end loader is on the wrong end. LOL Enjoy it. I'd like to have a big red tractor and maybe some day I will. Well that day came about a week ago. I introduce you too the big Red Binder! I might do a ...
