Re: Building Front end loader

Around my parts, steel is very high when you purchase less than a stick because of the labor they charge to cut it. I have always bought full sticks because it is pretty much the same price out the door. Now I have a connection with a very large regional steel distributor and I get it at their emplo...

It looks factory from the pics. The current owners bought it new and it has been garages since new, so...

Re: SGT questions

I did not realize there were differences. I actually found one for a 2182 and was told it would fit????? So what are the differences and ...

Suitcase Weights

I could not stand seeing the pics posted on here of the suitcase weights. Hoping to do a little fixing up on my recently acquired 982 this winter for my son and I really liked the looks of those weights. I ordered 10 of the cast iron and 1 of the aluminum. I really felt like I would like the additio...

Re: front suitcase weight bracket

I could not stand to look at the picture of the weights above. I just received the 10 cast weights I ordered. And I finally did get a CC to go with it! Now I have to figure out that bracket.

Re: front suitcase weight bracket

I'm pretty sure someone did the IH logo on a milling machine or a CNC mill. I don't think they were cast that way. That might be Steve Blunier's tractor. You very well may be right. Just looking at the texture of the body of the weight, I assumed it was a casting. Regardless, I need some of those f...

Re: front suitcase weight bracket

Just by looking at the picture above, I think those may be cast weights. I really like them and the look to be scaled appropriately. I have some connections thru my job and have tossed around the idea to have some tooled up (cast iron). I am unsure if the IH logo would e a problem legally.
