Re: CC 3185/3165 and a 3240 project.

My dad has a 3240 (bought it new) with 200? hours on it now. He has every option except the 3-point on it. He's kinda retired it, so I'm told its going to be mine......

Re: Ooouch!!!!!

As others have mentioned, that dealer is VERY uninformed as to the correct oil to use. The CCC terminology for the Hytan oil equivalent is Hydraulic Transmission Fluid (has a red stripe on the label). The Newer CCC (post 2000 built) use the Drive System Fluid Plus...10w40 synthetic blend. This has a...

The "by MTD" was supposed to be covered up by a green stripe. Looking at the sign here at C&G I see we neglected to cover ours

The drift buster is neat. I wonder who made that?

Re: CARTER & GRUENEWALD COMPANY

According to Woods, the burnt orange should be the right color. They used different paint suppliers over thier 60 + years in business. The new paint may appear to be way off when compared to an old machine, but its just faded badly. It's kinda like a the way IH 2150 red likes to fade out. ;)

Re: 1782 Wiring Harness
