As others have mentioned, that dealer is VERY uninformed as to the correct oil to use. The CCC terminology for the Hytan oil equivalent is Hydraulic Transmission Fluid (has a red stripe on the label). The Newer CCC (post 2000 built) use the Drive System Fluid Plus...10w40 synthetic blend. This has a...

The "by MTD" was supposed to be covered up by a green stripe. Looking at the sign here at C&G I see we neglected to cover ours

According to Woods, the burnt orange should be the right color. They used different paint suppliers over thier 60 + years in business. The new paint may appear to be way off when compared to an old machine, but its just faded badly. It's kinda like a the way IH 2150 red likes to fade out.

I have yet to see ANY of the correct sized belts get shipped from Cub Cadet. IF CC knows they have an issue, why do they keep shipping the small belts.????

Porch Electric does an excellent job on thier products. I have used them to re-create several harnesses including the 782-882-1512 diesel. They use industrial grade wire and connector and bench test every item they make. Thier quality is matched by NO ONE! Other harness makers sell for less $$$, but...
