Zoom corn planter

Has anyone heard of a Zoom planter for Category O? If so does it have plates? Found one for sale, price is high but I thought about going to look at it, Couldn't find any info on it.

Thanks for the manual, I will read through it. Looks like there are a lot of things I can use to troubleshoot it with!

Re: New to me lathe

Here is our Clausing, it has the variable speed drive. It cut the first picture in half. http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/cadet1963/963c004e.jpg http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/cadet1963/077db227.jpg http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/h457/cadet1963/c9fe3399.jpg I have the same la...

Re: Brinly plows

Thanks Merk, The homelite design looks like it might be the easiest way to go. I can just try and duplicate the height and distance of the hitch to the point of the other plow that i borrowed. Makes me wonder what happened that they cut it off? Oh well all I can do is try to fix it. I haven't...

Re: Brinly plows

FWatson, That is just like the one I borrowed to plow my garden. The one I have is similar but main beam is shorter and the adjusting screw has a different style turn buckle. The adjuster looks just like the one on Merks plow.. I will get pics this afternoon and try to post them, then maybe it will ...

Re: Brinly plows

The one I borrowed doesn't have the second bend toward the frt and has more of a bend at the rear. The one I have looks like the bend is the same as yours in the rear, but looks like the main beam is cut off (maybe) and the yoke is "bolted"/welded on where the coulter attaches. I will take some pics...

Brinly plows

How do you guys ID the different models of brinly plows? Are there part #'s stamped any where? I borrowed a friends plow and plowed the garden today :D . (What fun that was!) Anyways, I put his plow next to an old one I bought (that needs a lot of repairs) I'm trying to figure out if my plow is a pp...

Re: a few questions

Yes That is the part I need. Is yours off a narrow frame? A friend had an extra off a wide frame but it wouldn't go on the arm, the bolts were to big.

a few questions

I am finally getting around to working my 70. I have removed the seven horse and installed a 14 (discuised as a 10 ;) ) I have collected several extras like fenders, lights, three point, and hubcaps. I have the original switch and tail light. I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the original inst...

Re: SGT questions

All I have is the trans with drop boxes, I picked up at the antique tractor auction a couple of years ago. You know how it is "That would be great for....". It has been patiently waiting for the right project. Crawler would be cool but I don't think I have the patience (or time)to build something li...

Re: SGT questions

I was thinking gear drive (I have a few old cast rear ends in the barn) would be cool. but it would be easier to go hydro as all the parts are there. I also have an old low boy rear that I thought about turning the drop boxes and making a "high crop", that would be different. It would also have more...

New guy in IN

Figured I had better introduce myself, have been lurking in the shadows enjoying this site for a couple of weeks. I have several Cub Cadets in all states of disrepair  and I like them all. I mow with an 1882 (tractor is OK but hate the plastic body), also have the 70 that I learned to mow on. ...

SGT questions

I have been reading a lot of posts but this is my first time posting. I have been trying to figure out why 6" was added into the super tractors (sorry if this has been discussed before, I couldn't find it) Is it more to get the look right with the bigger tires, or just the better ride? It doesn't se...
