I like the antique white also and found the rustoleum transport yellow to be pretty close to the 60's 70's yellow. :beer:

LOL !!!! let us know what you find ! I add MMO ( Marvel mystery oil ) to my gas gan every fill up and have not had any issues with heads building up carbon on any of my tractors !

http://cubfaq.com/kohlertorquespecs.html 25-30 ft lbs. initial torque ,run engine 5-10 minutes and retorque ! Not sure how you would check compression on that engine with the auto. comp. release (ACR)

I would assume when you say it's a 44 inch deck your measuring from blade tip to blade tip and not the outside of the housing ? Can you post a pic of the deck if problem not resolved .

Just a thought if it's been sitting awhile you may want to pull some of the engine shroud tin off while your working on it to be sure no rodent nests are blocking the air flow around the engine cooling fins ! :beer:

125's a great machine ! been restoring one with optional hyd lift for about the past 4 years, no problem but keeps getting pushed to the back burner ! good luck with the project and looking forward to some pics ! :beer:

That may be an option as you could weld it back together or replace it cause even if you get the pin out you may have just as much trouble getting the handle cast piece off of the cut shaft if I'm following what you got in mind ? Maybe throw this question out on the OCC web site and see if it brings...

There should be a pin in the lower cast pc of the handle that has to come out and I believe the fender pan needs to be off for the handle to have clearance to be pulled off ,I think the pins inside the frame lock the lift arms to the shaft that the handle controls . My opinion is that they were the best looking style of vette ,buddy had a blue 64 coupe we use to run to work at the steel mill back in the mid 70's !course you could buy one then for 2500-3000 bucks !

Great pics, the 108 is looking awesome !!! I've got a 108 with a Danco loader on it . Not anywhere near nice as yours !! Love that butternut yellow vet on the lift !
