I ran the 12 sport stock class. Ended up 1st in the first round and 3rd in the second round. Had a great time watching the garden tractors along with the big ones.

GLAD YOU GOT IT FIGURED OUT. I REBUILT MY 301 LAST SUMMER FOR MY PULLING TRACTOR AND IT WOULD NOT REV RIGHT. TURNS OUT IT HAD A BAD BRAND NEW SPARK PLUG IN IT. PUT A GOOD USED ONE IN IT AND RUNS LIKE A CHAMP. ONE THING I LEARNED THAT DAY, NEW PARTS AREN'T ALWAYS GOOD PARTS.

Does anyone know what the stock gears were for 1,2,and 3rd

I was told that they have a 38% overdrive in them. Is this correct?

Can anyone tell me what gears are in the "Original" Transmissions?

I don't plan on buying a tractor from either place. My friend and I were talking about his inlaws tractor that was bought at a box store and he said that a local dealer sold the same tractor. So I was just checking on what I heard about cheaper tractors.

I was told from a few people that the tractors that can be purchased at big chain stores are built cheaper that the ones that are sold from cub cadet dealers. On my 682 there is a plug on the rear end cover that I remove to fill it. Is your 682 a newer model?

I was thinking about making a homemade compressor out of an old 6cyl. motor i have laying around. I have seen where guys have use the trannys for different gearing.I thought about usinf a cub to power it, but I'd like to have electric just to make it easier to use. My front hook up looks different. I just have two u bolts that slip over the axle and got into two holes on the bracket. I'm from Transfer PA. Got into cubs about 3 years ago. I've learned alot about them and enjoy looking at them.
