Re: White seat

I saw a Youtube video awhile back where a shop in California uses heat from a hair dryer to soften the fabric and form it on custom seat projects. I know there are shops that can do such however finding them isn't easy.

That is one beautiful 682. It would be hard decision for me also as to swap it to get your 1650 back. You've made a fantastic score find one with such low one owner hours on it. Congratulations1!!!

Re: Dave Kamp's "new" IH 4130 Skid Loader

Dave already has the engine pulled and he's looking for a new power supply. He's also looking for some pumps and motors for his hydrostatic forklift which is giving him fits. As busy as he is it amazes me how he keeps up with himself.

Dave Kamp's "new" IH 4130 Skid Loader

Hi, Everyone. Just wanted to let all know that last night, I had the privilege of helping Dave Kamp rescue an IH 4130 Skid Loader from being cut up for scrap. I didn't get any pictures since it turns dark by 5:00 p.m. Anyway... a little over a year ago a good friend and co-worker had an engine fire ...

Re: Cub Cadet Original with Danco Loader

I've found that using vegetable oil on weather checked tires really helps brig life back to them. Just use a paint brush and let it soak in. Wait for it to "dry" and give it another coat in about a week.

How about using a fuel oil pump as a charge pump? That's what they used on the prototype hydro Original for a charge pump.

Re: Need Help On Hydro Trunion Pump Change. 1782D Swap to a

I hope that I haven't upset or scared anyone off with my last post. However if one thinks about things then you will also realize that 700 hours on a 15U if otherwise properly maintained isn't many hours at all. Right now I am in favor of checking all pressures using the Sauer Danffos and Cub Cadet ...

Re: Need Help On Hydro Trunion Pump Change. 1782D Swap to a

From what I have noticed looking at the Cub Cadet parts site the main differences between the two pumps is the two shafts. Now... once again you can rebuild the pump only in doing so are you VERY familiar with what to look for as far as physical damage to any of the parts? With this I'll tell a true...

Re: Need Help On Hydro Trunion Pump Change. 1782D Swap to a

I'm not too well versed on what pump the 1541 has. By that whether it is a 15U or a BDU10L. I bet that Rich could help out with that. $500.00 sounds cheap for a complete and new BDU15L series pump and yes... I know for a fact that you can still order one new. Your best bet is from a Sauer Danfoss Di...

Howdy... I'm confused here with the trunion pump thing? However... you've provided us with not enough information. I.E. How many hours and what kind of history is behind the whole tractor. Did this happen all of a sudden or has this been building up over time? You haven't taken the charge pump apart...

Howdy Scott!!! It was a busy morning and then hot afternoon today. I had to go to Des Moines and get four "new to us" tires for Ol' Blue's replacment Dakota. They were very reasonable and I should have looked at them harder only due to the heat and wanting to get home ASAP (missed a parade with two ...

Thank You, Bryan. I had it running only the carburetor was full of slime and rust so I changed out carburetors before it got way to hot to work outside. Something happened and now I don't have spark. The pulley on the engine is the wrong size and the engine is a ten horse Kohler that I'll get better...

I think that I'm figuring out how to post pictures on here. Two weekends ago, I went to LeClaire, iowa to visit with a great gentleman and pick up the Pow'r Pup at his place. Dave Kamp was able to get the Pup back to Iowa for me. I wish to give everyone a BIG THANK YOU for all the offers and the ass...

Howdy All. Just trying to do some catch up on here. Between my left knee "acting up" and just bunches of other stuff... it's been a little busy. Farmallgray is correct. ALL parts are still available for the 15Us from a Sauer Danfoss Distributor. Even though Cub Cadet and JD no longer carry the parts...

Having just found this post. One quick question.... Did you buy it? It is EASILY worth that much. Fix it up and you will love the litt...
