It's amazing what can happen when you put your glasses on. Taking a close look at the pinned-on metal tab, the part that actually should contact the valve buttons was broken off right at the pin. Hard to see until I put on my reading glasses. Evidently these metal tabs aren't real sturdy. I checked ...

Thanks - the little metal "sweep" that's supposed to contact the check valve buttons is still pinned to the lever, and it looks to be original and not broken. It's still almost an inch too short to contact the buttons. I can fix it easily enough by making a new "sweep" and pinning it to the shaft, b...

Just brought home a 149 and one of the Hydrostatic transmission check valves was stuck. I removed it, cleaned and freed it up and put it back in and noticed that the part on the release lever that's supposed to contact the buttons on top of the check valves doesn't come anywhere near touching the bu...

Hi. New member here. I'm just curious as to whether you have to polarize the generator after installing the new regulator.
