Ariens S-12 GOOD RUNNER

Selling a nice running Ariens s-12 garden tractor. Built very heavy and seems bigger than our Cub Cadets. 12hp Kohler K301 engine, good tires, fiberglass hood and fenders in good shape. The fenders in the rear have a few cracks but nothing major. Electric PTO, shaft drive deck, 40 inches. Hydrostati...

Re: cub cadet 800

Wow, that is impressive! I finally just got my 1st 800 here a few weeks ago and just got it running. I really like mine and plan on using it quite a bit! Good to see he has saved so many.

That is one nice 86 Paul. Very cool story behind it. Someone will definitely want to get that from you when you are ready to sell it.

Re: Kohler 12hp problems

There are two things that I could think of... One: How smooth was the crankshaft journal? Did you use a micrometer to check out of round tolerance? If it was any sort of rough I could see that there would be too much friction between the journal and the rod causing it to snap. Two: Did you install t...

Re: front axle rebuild

I'm no loader guy, but I would do the obvious like check for wear on the pivot pin, if there is significant wear, I'd get a busing made or bore for a larger pin...

Make sure there are no cracks or breaks in the axle. The spindle upgrade would probably be a plus also.

Re: 126 resto

Wow, those tractors look great! We have the exact same type of 126 with all the options...except mine has manual lift instead of electric lift. Great job, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Re: Cub 122 no start, no anything.

If you have a voltage tester, you should try to go through your electrical system to make sure that you have 12 volts going to the correct places. Sometimes key switches can be bad even when new, you wouldnt think they would be but they can be. You could also TEMPORARILY bypass your safety switch wi...

Re: Cub Cadet Registries?

Yes, so Ive heard. Ive heard bits and peices of info throughout the years...but I was wondering if anyone out there is collecting serial #s for the popular Cub Cadets...like the 169's, Originals, 126's, 86's....etc. I think it would be a neat thing to get back going if there was a way to do it...

Cub Cadet Registries?

Is there a Cub Cadet Registry for certain models? I heard through the grapevine that there might be. Any info would be appreciated.

Engine for AC garden tractor

Complete with muffler, head, carb, and air cleaner. $200. Please email me at rmcsh09@aol.com. Item is located in...
