First snow photo. Took the 1811/450 out for a 20 foot test and worked well in 2 inches of snow. Looks like some good fun this coming Thursday and Friday.

Re: 450 Auger Bushings
Wow, are the welds also broken away from the auger shaft? The spirals are too far away from the gear box. Tom you found it! This 450 came along with my 1811 I bought few years back. The 1811 also included 2 blades and 3 mower decks. For me a good deal. The guy had a steep driveway and said it could...

No one has mentioned the problem with the old augers. Take another look.

Thanks for the comments folks! They are bronze so a bit of oil. Back together, before and after shots. Besides the bent RH auger what else do you see on the old augers? This 450 came with my 1811 so damage was from PO. Dave Chester thanks the augers worked great!

The end of the auger shaft bearing, does it require lubrication?

New 1650 has been put to work. Virtually no smoke, looks like a few months of MMO did the job, or maybe it's out of oil!

Re: What I did with my tractor today! (Pic heavy please!)
Garden planting almost done. Here is one 12' row of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, beets and carrots planted today. 5b, NE Pennsy. Note those short rows of carrots in the upper left. Planted about 1/2" deep with promix covering. Trying for a better germination. End of the day a nice soft rain to water ...

Re: New 1650
My 1650 sat a few winter months with MMO added to the cylinder. Got it running yesterday and I'd say I have about 20% of the smoke when running compared to when I got it. So it appears the MMO is working. Added more and will let sit for a few days and run again.

Re: 1811 Carb
This one had an extra choke shaft to get the choke working in the right direction. This 1811 tractor 450 combo is dedicated to starting in winter during blizzards and 10F outside. The high cost amortized over the next few years doesn't matter.
My daughters lawn mower got a $12 carb.

Dave my 1650 would greatly appreciate if you could check. Previous owner loved to use vice grips on that plug.
