Re: NF Hydrolic Pumps

Dustin,
I made a poster board template for the location of the hydrolift holes from a 72 frame. Drilled the holes in my 100 frame using that template.

Everything works and lines up perfect. Did I just get lucky or what? :dontknow:

Re: Auction find / narrow vs wide frame steering spindle ?

Vinny,
I forgot to mention. I did take an electric lift apart a few years ago and found the beveled gear had several teeth missing. Outrageous price for a new gear. I put it back together and sold it for parts.

Re: Auction find / narrow vs wide frame steering spindle ?

Vinny,
No electric lifts left here.
They get sold on evilbay ASAP. Of course they don't bring as much $$$ as that last hydro lift I sold.

Vinny,

I erased my steering arm fix that I had posted here since it was unrelated to what you were asking. My bad.

Pics of Original with M&W 9 Speed that was at Cub-Arama in Fredericktown, MO last weekend. I don't remember the owners name or where he is from.

Re: 100 rear pto install

Mine pukes until it starts to dry heave!
I'm thinking the bearing may have enough wear in it to let the shaft wallow around in the seal.
Should have replaced it when I had it apart. :banghead:

Re: 100 rear pto install

Todd, Looks like you are on your way to having a fully optioned 100. Sweet! I noticed you have the thin walled drive shaft coupler. I've found they kinda like to eat on the spiral pins. Guess thats why they started using thicker walled couplers later in production? When you had your creeper apart, d...

Re: How about?

I too would like to see at least the shooting the breeze section in one large thread. In fact, having each of the topics in their own large thread would be fine by me!! Glad the forum is back, but I do miss the old setup. Too much going back and forth, back and forth now.
