It's good to see ya still hanging around. I'm doin' my best to

1961 Original wheel weights
This is in regard to the header I saw at the top of the page when I logged on this morning regarding wheel weight cost in 1961. To keep it in perspective I looked up how much money $11 felt like. I googled minimun wage for 1961 and came up with this... "A 1955 amendment increased the minimum wage to...

Good question... Never thought about it before.
I would think less.
Closing the gap would make the engine fire earlier
before TDC thereby advancing the spark?????

I remember Jim Chabot from the IHCC forum site, not so much this one.
But then again, I'm old and forgetful.
Has anyone heard any thing from Mark Bowersox (the founder of this and the original IH Registry site)?

I once stopped the kohler in my neighbors lawn tractor from heavy smoking by running a healthy dose
of MMO through the gas tank.
I'm thinking it may have been a sticking piston ring (or somesuch).

Tractor Supply also sells the Valspar tractor & implement paints for a reasonable cost.
I've used some of them and was satisfied with the results.
Keep in mind I don't do restorations and am somewhat easily appeased.
