So the fuel pump solved your problem. So what would solve mine? I have the same symptoms as you have, but mine is on a Kohler in a 100. Don't think there is a fuel pump on them is there? If so, I am missing it! Mine is the same way, when it gets hot, it will not idle up at all, will run for the most...

Pretty sure that's a copy of the original manual I have here that came with my 982. :) Whether it is or isn't, glade it helped you and you got the Onan working again.
