I have been told that these little guys have 1 cast iron pulley and 1 aluminum pulley on the drive system. Apparently the aluminum pulley will wear and the belt sits down in it too far, basically slipping all the time. If this is true,you should be able to look and see if the belt sits lower in the ...

ih spring assist goes on right side, attaches to lift bar, brinly spring assist goes on left side and attaches to cross rod which is hooked to lift handle

common for QL, hold clutch down, turn key to on, and wiggle pto switch on-off, good possible will start
