Re: I'm Finally Done!!

Excellent Job, now its too bad your going to work it! I hope my "O" turns out that good. What brand of paint and paint numbers did you use? I used Sherwin Williams Auto paint the Federal Yellow and I think it was their IH 935 White. I'll check tomorrow when I get back out in the shop. They had a bo...

I couldn't tell you. I picked up a 54" this summer cheap that didn't have a sub frame. I am going to modify a mower sub frame and put it on my 1650. :D

Re: Cub cadet 1650 lift rod

Hey all, I decided to whip up a lift rod by using some flat stock and a few hitch pins. The one picture shows one piece but since then I added a second piece to strengthen it up. Seems to work just fine. I drilled a few extra holes just incase. Did you put the second piece on the other side of the ...

Re: 1650 Fixes/Resto

Hey Matt, That was considered as I knew that putting the decal on the tin wouldn't look right since it's textured. I considered painting it and cutting out the control images and applying those to the tin. After looking at a 127 restoration on another forum, the idea of putting it directly on the pl...

Re: 1650 Fixes/Resto

I applied my decal to the plastic. My tin was good, just awfully faded and textured so I didn't think it would look good. http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii257/3krazy/Cub/DSCF8772.jpg I also spent $.20 on felt at Walmart to protect my gas tank: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii257/3krazy/Cub/...

Re: Hytran Ultra and Hytran Plus

Thanks guys!! That's what I was hoping to hear. Looks like it will be more like a quart and a half. Since I had the whole thing disassembled, how much will I add the 1st time, before it cycles through the filter and lift cylinder? I know its 14 pints total. I figure I will have to add after it runs ...

Hytran Ultra and Hytran Plus

I apologize if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find it through the search feature. My local IH dealer doesn't sell Hytran Ultra bulk, only in gallons. I am going to be about 1 quart short of refilling my 1650 with what have on hand and have about 3/4 of a gallon of Hytran Plus sitting...

Painted the frame tonight. I thought I had done a good job. I held that gun every which way, but I just don't have enough good light. After I took the pictures, the flash shows what I missed. The problem is, I don't know how I'm gonna get to some of it, even if I use a detail gun: http://i266.photob...
