Re: 125 hydro not working.

I am in the process of restoring a 125. This is my first tractor and hydro so please go easy on me! I have everything torn apart as far as I want to, meaning I don't want to mess with the hydro at all if I don't have to. It ran when I got it, but I immediately began dis-assembly so I didn't get a re...

Re: Forward/Reverse lever

There didn't seem to be any glue, there was no set screw in mine and it was rubbing hard against the dash, it seems like the previous owner just hammered it on instead of using a set screw.

125 Front Axle and PTO questions

Okay, I am finally making some serious dis-assembly progress on my 125. But I can't figure out how to get the front control arm or axle or whatever you want to call it off. Basically I need to remove #1 so I can get # 2 off in the picture below. It seems like a roll pin but I tapped away at it for a...

Steering Wheel Puller

I devised a cheap way to pull my steering wheel and figured I would share it. Assuming you already have a 3 jaw gear puller, this will be under $5. I bought 3 small clevis pipe clamps from Lowe's and used the lower part to wrap around the spokes of the wheel, then just bolted those in place of the a...

Re: Forward/Reverse lever

It took me about 6 months (of course not working on it the whole time), a dremel, a hacksaw, a few screwdrivers, a drill, a chisel, 2 size hammers but I finally got mine off last night! And I got lucky and didn't hit the shaft, bonus!

125 Front PTO

First off, thank you k sanders for responding to my last post. Again this is my first tractor, and I have a lot of work ahead of me but I'm enjoying this new hobby and learning along the way. So, bought a 125 and tearing it all apart and eventually rebuilding it for fun. I knew what PTO stood for bu...

125 Speed Control Lever & Generator Questions

Hello, this is my first Cub, or Cadet, I don't know the lingo yet, so please bear with me! It's actually my first tractor. I have always wanted to restore a car but can't afford that yet, and I came across this 125 that runs (er ran when I bought it) with little rust, mower deck, snow plow, and trai...
