My uncle wanted me to post that he will not cave....
And a special message for Big Mike:
Dave just told me he's selling all his cubs in exchange for the craftsman. The forum is much more friendly.

Tom...the way i see it, Dave does not have a problem...he did not build an overly elaborate filter system for something as simple as a parts washer! Nice modification Tom. We use those Loc-Line hoses at the factory that I work at over the summer. We pump air through them to check for breaks in the seals of plastic sleeves. They must have a lot of applications!

Excellent work guys! The creativity here is exciting, and I love how each of you took your own approach. If you don't mind, I would like to take the liberty to compare and contrast them a little: Tom Pros: Rollers: makes it easily portable Solid Construction: will last for years Filter: the use of t...

Dave is one to talk about seconds!! This year at the family reunion he was standing over the soup bowl and making sure that nobody took more than one bowl. I wanted the tortellini soup and the broccoli cheese soup, but Dave would have none of that!

Wow Dave, the "construction zone" for this project seems to be growing! I hope it all works for you this winter. Any observations during the recent rain?

Re: Cleaning up the 2072
Thanks Daniel! You're welcome to tag into the ring at any time to gang up on ol' dag! Your definition is for sure the "old school Hooptie". The alternate version is maybe a ride in not so bad of shape, but with every ridiculous bling option that can be had, all that I listed and more. Haha, thanks ...

Re: Cleaning up the 2072
Tom, good one! I was not familiar with the term "hooptie" at first either. I looked it up and found a definition urban dictionary. The site is usually too vulgar for me, but this time it is just flat out funny! I think you guys will get a real kick out of this definition, and Dave maybe this w...

Holy cow Dave, that thing is nuts! I think if I had never seen that and I was following it when it turned out to the side I would slam on the brakes thinking that it was doing a jackknife in front of me.

Wow, what a great project! Thanks for posting all of the pictures so that we could follow along, that is one mighty fine looking tractor! The paint on the body looks sharp, I really like the IH red that you picked. I also like your creative solution for the grille. All in all, excellent project with...

Dave, have you gotten to the point of making your wife park the car outside yet becuase the garage is full of Cubs?
But really though, that snow yesterday was a wake up call. Got to make sure everything is ready for the winter because it is coming fast.

Wow Lorin, that sounds like a mess! I bet it gave you a little scare. I'm glad to see that it seems to have caused no more damage than just some cleanup work.

Dave, looks great! Mulching can sometimes be a pain, but it means nice weather is here! I'm sure the Cub makes it a lot more fun
The pics that you posted are nice, I understand how you feel though! You can't seem to win when you need to take pictures with the cooperation of others

Hi guys, My name is Daniel and I am from Pennsylvania. I have a small part-time lawn mowing business with my ExMark Lazer Z. While I don't have any Cubs myself, one of my relatives, dag1450, is a big Cub fan and he convinced me to sign up. Over the past few years he has amassed quite the collection ...
