Hi,
Just curious if you have this much play between the auger and the bearings? I have a QA-42A installed and still figuring it out. There is no gap on the other end.

Wow. They look good. I put switchbacks in my driveway and the standard skids just dig in. I seen where HD has 12" long ones but they are still only 1" wide. Did you make them?

129 w/ QA-42a on gravel

Hello. I have a 129 with a QA-42A snowthrower. I am trying to use it on a 1500' gravel driveway. The skids on the snowthrower dig in to the gravel and with only a manual lift, I feel keeping it elevated using the lock will cause problems. Thinking about adding wheels to the QA-42.
