Thanks for the info. It looks like it will work. The plow was purchased in '68 so it's on the threshold between sub frame assemblies.. meaning it could've been a '67 leftover.
Again, thanks for the help

Re: Original fenders
Fitz;
do you still have the fenders for the 100?
do you need fenders for an Original? I just bought Original fenders but found they wont fit my 100.
If I read you right, you need my set, and I need your set. Interested in a trade?

Narrow Frame front blade
Hello all; I found a 1968 front plow and bracket with wheel weights for a good price on Craigslist. The manual shows that it is for a narrow frame tractor, but does not list the model numbers it was designed for. Will this fit on my 1963 70? It's two hours away and I'd like to know before I purchase...

Re: PTO Education
Thanks for the lead on this. Are you speaking of the Kohler manual or other? I've been looking but haven't come across this yet. Thanks again.

PTO Education
Continuing my quest for a thorough narrow frame Cub Cadet education, I am now looking for information on the PTO drive/pulley. Specifically how they operate and how to rebuild one. I have seen vids on dis-assembly, but not much in terms of how to rebuild. What parts are needed? Anything you guys can...

Steering wheel/hood clearance
Does anyone have an idea of why the steering wheel on my 70 blocks the hood when lifted? I've heard other owners have the same issue, but have no idea why. The problem was solved by the previous owner by beating the steering wheel out of shape to make a flat spot for the hood to pass. I guess the st...

'Gauge Wheel' Diameter Question
Hey folks; trying to rebuild my narrow frame 42" rotary mower and need to know what diameter wheels are used on the back. The deck I bought is missing the originals, so I need to ask. They're called 'gauge wheels' in the manual, but to me they're just plastic wheels. Shouldn't be hard to find replac...

Re: Correct Yellow
I did and saw that you asked me to post in this section instead.
Can you tell me the shade of the color code that is posted? I don't know what it looks like.
thank you.

Correct Yellow
Hello CC fans New to the CC scene and am in the process of a resto on a CC 70. When viewing the pics of other tractors, I find 2 different shades of yellow being used on some 70's. (yellow and yellow/orange) Why is this? I noticed the paint code on this web site, but that doesn't tell me which shade...
