Re: Need help identifying

Jess, I don't have the pics from craigslist but I picked these up locally here in Mt Airy, MD about a block from my house along with the plow I'm selling which was off a 2000 series tractor. These may be the same ones given the description. Do you know what manufacturer used the 635 stamp? I've sear...

Re: Need help identifying

Just got some images of the weights. Here they are. Stamped "635" on one sidewall only. Look similar to some JDs I've got here just slightly taller and the handle appears a bit thicker.

Need help identifying

I picked up a few suitcase weights approx 50 lbs that are stamped "653" in the sidewall. Anyone know the manufacturer and what original color was other than rust brown!

BB,

Thanks for response. I figured there wasn't too much to these but wanted to see what folks had done with theirs. I printed out the owners manual from the manual section so that should help as well. GG

Brinly DD-1000

Hey Everyone, Happy Holidays. I recently picked up a Brinly DD-1000 which I will be stripping and repainting. I note there are grease fittings on the gang assemblies that will be re-greased. Are there any other adjustments/maintenance that should be done to these units??? Thanks

Re: How to make metal hydraulic lines

Tim, Funny I was asking a similar question on another forum. Here a good link to various flaring sets. http://www.mastercool.com/pages/flaring_tools.html Probably cheapest way would be to just buy used lines from someone parting out a similar unit. But if you have the tubing and fittings already the...

Re: 400 Tiller 3 pt set-up

OK Guys had some seat time today after I fabricated a new pair of 5" and an 8" links for the tiller. I ended up only using one 5" and the 8" as I connected that to my center link instead of the mounting bracket on the back of the tractor. I also fabricated a new wheel mount out of heavier guage stee...

400 Tiller 3 pt set-up

Guys, I've got a 400 8hp tiller that I am mounting on a tractor with factory Cat 0 3pt (JD 400). The unit had a 3pt adapter kit option as shown here. CC 400 tiller adapter.gif . Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the connecting links (items 10 and 12) were? As they do not seem to carry any of th...

New to me

Hey guys just wanted to share a nice find I've been looking at for quite some time. I picked it up relatively locally this past weekend and it runs flawlessly.

I'm looking forward to giving it a good workout this spring.

Re: 3 or tiller

OK I did a little more research and think I found the machine in the allied equipment manual posted in the document section. It is a model 190-400 8HP rotary tiller. Does anyone have one of these and could you tell me anything about your experiences using it.

Thanks GG

Hey guys
I recently saw a IH 38" tiller with 3 pt configuration and B&S engine. Can anyone tell me where I can find info on this model and what a resonable price is for one in good working condition???

Re: I've seen the light!!

Yes indeed, Had to pull the lid on the old guy to make some custom side panels for the cab. I simply gas it up and slide the hood into position. I fashioned some pins up front to align it and keep it from rattlin off. Now to get that radio mounted in the cab and I'll be good to go. Here he is in act...

Delco-Remy S/G

Well just thought I'd post a few pics of the tear down of the S/G on my 125. Some may not have ever seen the internals. Picked up a replacement unit to keep me rolling and now I've got time to rebuild this old guy. From the looks of things, some of the piece-parts vaporized when it self-destructed a...

Well I've got to differ. Here's a pic of my trusty 1200 with QA42 and cab. Starts every time, runs strong, and throws snow when I ask it to. Can't ask for much more out of the old boy. I'd say any cub is a good cub!

Fortunately my 1200 with QA42 is ready to take on the snow, if any heads our way, but I must say using the hydro is a real pleasure i...
