I actually don't know what model blade it is, but its not a cub blade. I can see a case emblem on it but i don't see a tag anywhere, im guessing it may have been painted over ;)

Re: Who's ready for Winter?

I am most certainly not ready for winter.. but it came early in eastern North Dakota, most farmers around me don't have any crop off while some have a bare minimum of crops off.Its just been so darn wet nothing has been done in the fields and now they got 12-18 inches of heavy wet snow. I did someth...

Re: 6" PTO part number

Ok, that's what i was unsure of. found a company on amazon that sells replacement clutches for less then cub gets for them. parts tree lists 917-3389 for $391.31 on amazon its the same number and its $179.99 with free shipping. being the 1782 has the same engine as the 1772, i would think it would j...

Tom, i have looked at the sticky several times and it references changing the PTO on the tractor or the gearbox on the blower, i was just wondering if the pulley on the blower could be changed? but I'm realizing now that may not be able to happen would have to really drop in size to speed up the blo...

Re: 1772 vibration

Why yes, yes i can. What your looking at in the picture is the coupling between the engine and the drive line, the bolt heads that you see touching are what hold the bushing for the end of the driveshaft and the rubber flex disk, somehow they line up just right making me wonder if there is special b...

the only thing that is going to "work" this tractor will be plowing and maybe a blade on the front from time to time, until i get a place of my own a 60" mower is just over kill in town heck my 54" is overkill in town

Probably a little late now but you can also convert the drive shaft on that to the CV style used on the Cyclops tractors. Jeff in PA has the adapters and then all you need is a drive shaft from an 1863 or 1864.[/quote]     wha.... pictures please  yeah i plan...
