Re: 127 lives!
I like the big trailer and the feet on the qa36. I need to make some feet like that for my snowblower.

Leaking Hydro
I have not posted anything in quite a while, just lurking and reading posts. A month or so ago I went out to use my 2086 Kwik-Way loader tractor and found a large puddle of hydro trans fluid. Figured it was the seal behind the hydro, I could see it seeping out. Read through Tom's "Cinderella Stor...

Re: 3 Point Carry All & Aerator Meet...
Tom that looks good. I love the idea of not having to get off the tractor and unload the weight just to swing the wheels down when going across the driveway. Great idea

Here is a picture of the Kwik Way loader that Tom mentioned, it is on a 2086. It also has the three point hitch on it from xtremeMotorWorks.

Re: 54" mower deck cleanup
Thanks. I used flex core to weld in the patch. For the patch I used a small section of exhaust pipe that I had in my scrap metal container. The hole was on one of the rounded indents, so I cut a section of the exhaust pipe and it fit into the area almost perfectly. I fit it in from the bottom and th...

Re: 54" mower deck cleanup
I'm brushing the whole thing. It seems to be laying pretty smooth so far, no brush marks.

54" mower deck cleanup
I was convinced that I should try out the 54" mower deck but it needed some rework before that happened. It has been laying around all rusty with a hole in it. I fixed the hole and put a coat of por15 on it along with a primer coat. It is a work in progress but it is getting there. Trying out the ma...

Re: KWIK Way Loader and a 2086
Good idea on the gorilla tape, I think I'll give that a shot. I think I actually have at least some of the original decals, and their still in good shape. I'll compare them to the pictures below since it has been while and I don't remember what they look like.

KWIK Way Loader and a 2086
I thought I would put up a picture of my 2086 with a Kwik Way Loader. Bought the loader a couple years back from Kwik Way. When I bought it, they said it was one of the last ones they were selling for the super tractors. Always wanted a loader and it has been great. Just put new ag tires on and got ...

Re: NUsed Adapter Housing and Support Brackets
Dave,
These were actually on the tractor when I bought them, unfortunately there was no blade that came with it. I do believe they are the haban brackets though. Below are the dimensions. The other holes all line up with the frame.

... and a new set of rubber foot rests for the 2182 which cleaned up quite nice. The engine worked great, just needed a new pto bearing and it was good to go.

Re: 125 Front Axle and PTO questions
You have to take the PTO off to replace that "button". You have three set(s) of set screws holding it on and each hole has two set screws in it. When you take it off then you can loosen the screws and drop in the new button. Make sure you put a good penetrating oil on them and let them soak overnigh...

NUsed Adapter Housing and Support Brackets
Finally joined, been reading for a long time. Thanks Tom Scott for all the information on the Cinderella Story post. I had a broken adapter housing in my 2182 and while fixing that plugged the three holes and added the drain holes for the axle tubes as you did in your post. Also made up some bracket...
