Concerns About Engine Oil
I have an almost-new Toro ZTR mower with a 22 hp Kohler engine. I also have several older Cub Cadets with the single cylinder K series engines. I've been told that the oil manufacturers are gradually reducing the amount of ZDDP (zinc and phosphorus) in their engine oils to avoid damaging catalytic c...

1650 Engine Miss
My faithful old 1650 suddenly has an engine miss once it's warmed up. I've checked the cooling fins for mouse nests and plugging (I blew them out with compressed air, anyway.). I've changed the spark plug and the air filter. No improvement yet. As soon as the engine warms up, it starts missing. I'd ...

PTO Rebuild--CC 70
The PTO on my faithful old 70 has finally given up. No amount of adjusting now will make it engage fully to run the mower deck. I seem to remember a "how-to" on this site for rebuilding those PTOs, but I can't find it if it's still here. I also seem to remember that there is a kit available for this...

Mowing Question
I need to take a mowing tractor to the lake place to mow three fairly small lots. I have a 149 that doesn't get much use and I'm thinking of using it for this purpose. I need a fairly narrow deck, and was wondering what the smallest deck is that I can fit to a 149. I have a couple of the old 38" dec...

NAPA Oil Filters
Does anyone remember how to get in touch with the guy who ships NAPA oil filters at a good price? I ordered from him a couple of times and was very pleased, but now have lost his contact info.
Any help appreciated,
Steve H.

Cub Cadet 1320 Value
A friend is trying to find an asking price for his church's CC 1320. It runs and mows OK. Anybody have a suggested asking price?
Thanks,

Re: Cub Storage
Cal:
I have a big-time storage problem, too, and I'd like to build something like that here. How do you get the Cubs up there? And do you have to push the bottom ones in by hand? It doesn't look as though there's room for a driver.
