Re: 1250 Engine Trouble

I had a similar problem with a 1000 quietline. Would die out while mowing. It would lose power and then die out. If I sat on the tractor for a bit while the engine cooled I could hear a slight pop. It was the exhaust valve sticking and popping back into place. I started giving the gas and the oil st...

Re: Fly Eagles fly

Love it Dave! I became an Eagles fan in 1986 when I was 12 years old. Some Eagles players came to Hegins PA to play a charity basketball game against the local high school teachers. Afterwards, the Eagles players went to eat at a local restaurant. My mom was working there as a waitress. She snuck me...

Re: Who's ready for Winter?

Dag,

I don't plan on using that blade. I will probably hang it on my 782 and just look at it. The blade and most of the parts were powder coated. I only painted the cylinder. I do plan on using the 450 blower though. Yes, that is mounted on your 2072!

Yes, no shop is ever big enough. The only thing that sets the size is the budget.

Re: New Cub garage and house.

Thank you Dave. I hear ya on the pavement but it just wasn't in the budget.i was also impressed with Superior walls. So far it has been a very nice tight and dry basement. I researched these walls and had them recommended to me by others but I was a bit skeptical watching the sections just get set o...

New Cub garage and house.

So after a year of planning and permitting and 4 months of construction our garage and house project is wrapping up. There are still some small details to finish up and a lot of landscaping to do in the spring, but we got our occupancy certificates the middle of the month and are moved in. Just had ...

Re: New to me.....3225 FEL!!!

Welcome to 3K club lol. Nice tractor. Check where steering cyl mounts to frame it's probably loose and causing some of your steering issues. Also with the weight of the loader your steering cyl life if probably greatly reduced. Might just be time for a new one. Several of us have gotten into these ...

New to me.....3225 FEL!!!

Well I've gone and joined two new clubs. The 3000 series club and the FEL club. I have been searching for a loader for about the last six months. I want one to help help with landscaping the property that my wife and I are building a new home on. So I found this. 3225 with a Kwik-Way loader. The tra...

Small details 782/2072

I was able to get after some small details on two of my tractors the other day. I came across two NOS IH armrest kits and got them put on. I installed some nut inserts in the seat backs to mount the brackets. We have an old low back seat back that we use for a pattern to locate the holes. You have o...

Be careful out there guys

So this morning my father and I headed out to a local restaurant for breakfast. While we were eating, I looked out the window and noticed a man across the street backing up a pick up truck into the back yard of the house. He got out and lowered the tailgate and placed some ramps on it, and then head...

Re: Lebanon Valley Classic Indoor Tractor Expo

Dave,

We only had one tractor at the show, dads tricycle and disc. All the rest of our stuff is still put up for the winter.

There were two supers there. In the middle of the last picture, a 1872 and 2072 that were painted red.

The 782d was not ours but it was very nice.
