Re: eBay fraud?????????

I'm all about giving the benefit of the doubt, but if I can see 4 digits in a picture, it's hard to believe it's not even more clearly visible in person... But, in his defense, if he wanted to deliberately deceive, he could have done a better job and made the "3" totally disappear... I don't know th...

Re: eBay fraud?????????

I sent him a question the other day and told him it looked like it was serial 8013. I also told him that I own serial 7881 and it doesn't have the steering adjustment in the pedestal. It is certainly possible that after 50 years the pedestal was changed, but the "3" in the serial number is clearly v...

Re: Goodyear Terra-Tires

Thanks alot Mike... I have 2 O's and they both still have their original tires and hold air fine... The tire in the picture is the worst as far as cracking goes... I'm just anticipating needing them at some point...

Goodyear Terra-Tires

Does anyone know if there is anyone making a tire with a similar tread pattern as the Goodyear Terra's?

Re: Registry for serial numbers and homepage picture

Dave, That would be cool. Thanks for burning the brain cells for us. Scott.. What was being populated when I added my three entries? Having one entry field doesn't preclude multiple entries, as long as the entries add a row to a table or append to a document and don't overlay the previous entry. I ...

Re: Registry for serial numbers and homepage picture

Ralph, Good idea. Ma sez we gotta go but I played around a little and let's see what you guys think. Look in your profile field and you will see a drop down option to pick a model then below that a place to enter the serial number and radio buttons to say whether it's a runner or not. I have to fig...

Re: Registry for serial numbers and homepage picture

I would like to get all the old registry info someday. But.... That would be great, but in lieu of that... What about creating another tab on the profile for Cubs Owned with formatted columns like Model, Serial, Owner, Location and Stock/Modified... These values could be captured to create a search...

Re: Another cub - serial 7881

Nice find. That's a real nice early Original that can be brought back to it's original state pretty easy. Can't understand not remembering why you changed a motor, but why not put the oil bath and stuff on that Magnum and run with it. They're a nice upgrade from the points and coil in my opinion an...

Another cub - serial 7881

Picked up this Original over the weekend. It came with a mowing deck, plow and the original engine. It has a replacement 8HP Magnum installed. It needs some cleanup but is solid otherwise. The PO said it was restored about 10 years ago and the new engine was installed about 4 years ago. After gettin...

Re: Registry for serial numbers and homepage picture

I'd like to see a serial number registry, much the same as the old site... It should at least be "sortable" by serial number and owners name.
