Re: 125 hydro problem

Thank you I will check that. Seems odd this could be the case because it drives forward with no issue

125 hydro problem

To make a long story short I combined 2 tractors to make one. Both were driving and fully functioning. One had a bad frame and good engine but the hydro leaked bad. The other had bad engine but good frame and clean leak free hydro. Other than the engine swap the only thing I changed was the shaft th...

Re: Paint choices

Here’s a picture of my mess with multiple projects going on it. The engine has been in progress for a while and I can’t remember what yellow I used on the small pieces. Again not looking for an exact match just close. I can see by the NOS stuff I have it’s not a match

Paint choices

I’m fairly new here and I’m sure paint has been discussed several times but I was unable to find an answer anywhere. I know there’s a rust-oleum yellow that’s pretty close to the cub yellow for my 122. I’m just completing a engine rebuild and am not doing a full restoration yet. My kids will be driv...

Re: Who's ready for Winter?

I’m currently using a Deere x758 diesel with a 54inch blower. It’s a nice machine and is 4wd. I miss my IH 254 compact and blower in snow like this because of higher horsepower. It made sense at the time when I purchased the deer to eliminate 2 tractors and get one that could do all I needed. Im gat...

Re: Who's ready for Winter?

Here where I live we got about 18 inches of that nice wet stuff. The village 3 miles from my house said 2 ft but I’m not sure. Lot of wind from the north so it made funny drifts. I called in sick. Wouldn’t have been able to get to work till 9 am anyway. No point in going at that time.

Re: Need Pictures of Kids on Tractors

Maybe not a cub but it is red. Yes that’s a 4 bottom behind a super M Granted sandy soil but it’s a very strong supe M. This is one of my favorite pictures

Creeper drive....again

So I bought a parts tractor with a creeper and sleeve hitch just for those items. Took the creeper off and found it had been full of water somehow. If I can get the planets free and looking like it’s worth rebuilding where should I look to purchase a shift fork and shift rod? Bearings seal, and gask...

Re: Who's ready for Winter?

My Cub isn’t ready yet so I have to use the x758 with a 54inch blower. But I do have 3 hundred pound IH weights on the back of it. That has to count for something. I even painted them red and sent a photo to the dealer when they wouldn’t cut me a deal on the JD weights.
