Re: 127 cab

Probably too far and not just what you are looking for, but I was on the Sioux City Craigslist and there is a salvage outfit from Parker S.D. that has a hard cab that had been modified to fit a 149 cub cadet. Price seems pretty good at $150. If you are looking for Show, most likely not for you but i...

If you can document your project with some pictures, I sure would appreciate it. I think I may have the same issue with a M15.

Thank you.

Re: Inline heaters for diesels

my 1572 has an in line heater on it. It was on it when I bought it about 3 years ago. Does a good job. Haven't had to start it this winter, as we here in western Iowa have only had about a total of 5" all winter. That is just fine with me!

Re: Need imput on 982

Thank you Vince, Ray, and Kevin for taking time to answer some of my concerns regarding the 982. I guess what you all were saying is that if my pockets are deep enough, go for it. I have not made any decisions nor made any offers regarding the one I am considering. If I should get it, I will post so...

Re: 682 HyTran Fluid

When servicing my 1572, I used a small funnel and attached a length of shrink wrap tube to the funnel, long enough to reach into the rear cavity. Paying special attention that the shrink wrap would not fall off. As you poured in the oil, the air is expelled around the outside of the shrink wrap. Wen...

Need imput on 982

Hi guys, Any of you that have a 982 or are familiar with this unit. Are there any parts that can not be found for these any more. I am wondering about the muffler's. Does anyone still have these? Are carb kits available? I realize that we have to go to used parts many times. I have a 782 and a 1572,...

Re: relief valve rebuild service question

Don't think I have the nerve to attempt this myself, but I think I will give the E-bay fellow a shot and see how it turns out. Thank's for the response guys. If I should have a problem this winter, in an emergency I can steal a valve from my 782. From what I see, they both have the same part number ...

relief valve rebuild service question

Has any of you used the rebuild service for the hydro relief valves? The guy from Ohio that rebuilds these claims to have done 118 of these rebuilds, so I would guess that he knows what he is doing. He lists the service on E-bay at $35 each. I have no connection with this man and do not know him, was...

cub 185 low boy

probably a bit late to ask this question. Tomorrow there is a cub 185 low boy with mower on an auction in the area. What are these things bringing? Just a general range High to low price. I saw a 154 at a swap meet last year and I think the seller was asking around $2000. I know , Condition, Conditi...

Re: Loader question

Thanks Matt Those pictures and story of your build are really great. Looks like it was a rather difficult job. Seeing how long it took you to complete your project, I figure I will probably take three times longer. One of my problems, is I have a Scout Red Carpet Special that I would like to get rea...

Loader question

Does anyone on here know anything about a Quick Way Loader? One for sale locally that is mounted on a Bolens Garden Tractor. Would it be a big job to mount one of these on my 782? I also have a 1572 with a 450 blower on it, but want to keep the blower on it. I have not seen any of the equipment yet,...

Re: FYI: Todd Markle's Cub Cadet Diesel Modifications

Thanks to Todd Markle for the original mod. Thanks to Bob for pulling this from the old IH Registry plus your reply, also Todd for your reply. I also looked at how simple this mod is and am going to give it a try also. I thought I had a bad glow plug, but after testing all of them, they were ok. If ...
