that map was definatly off, We had a solid 5 heavy inches here in Northern Wayne county...Was Ice fishing today btw and I wish I had my 1450 with the 42" trower on the lake. Was tuff tracking through 14 + inches of snow on the lake. Was so deep In spots that snow mobiles were getting stuck..

Dave , I notice the wheels on the snow thrower how is that working for ya? I almost sold my thrower this summer but decided to keep it and just raise the shoes up higher. I have a 1/4 mile dirt/ stone driveway. So far I only use the thrower when its over 6" and it did well not picking up rocks etc b...

Im not quite sure how to read the snow map, is it 16-18" in northern wayne county pa? Looks like im smack in the middle of the lighter pink area in wayne county. am I seeing this right?

I had two on both ends that enclosed the bearing that mounted into the housing.

thanks for the heads up regarding the Auger, I will definatly look at the clearance when I reassemble. probaly will be perfect since I think Ive probaly lost 1/16 or so off the auger from blowing my neighbors frozen gravel driveway

Ouch.....I got chills from what you wrote about your pop....
Im thinking I going to stick with the 4 paddle, keep the 2 paddle as a spare.
I will post pictures of the project when done, it aint gunna be a trailer Queen but so far Im very happy with my progress

Well I went ahead and hammerd away at the 4 paddle to straight'n out the fins and layed a coat of primer on it. I always used the 4 paddle auger and worked awsome, allot of locals say the throwers dont work around here.. I thought they were crazy, maybe they had 2 paddle augers :lol: :lol: Anyway mo...
