Re: Scored at last local auction!!
Wow!! A couple of ultra rare items on that trailer . Good finds ! Those zig-zags with the NF hydrolifts are rare to find and that haban sickle is also a very rare item . You really scored at that auction.

Anyone looking for a rare 800 ?(Texas)
Way to far for me to drive and not looking for another major project . If you live near houston or western louisiana might be worth the drive . It looks like it needs a lot of TLC but its mostly there . The 800 specific air breather alone is worth the starting bid price . https://www.ebay.com/itm/32...

Mind reading software ? Gone for a while and they upgrade the site . I don’t know what that software costs but for a few guys they’d be overpaying even if it was cheap . You have to have something upstairs to read , myself included .

1961 CCO serial # list
Its been a while since I've checked in and would like to know who's in charge of the 1961 serials list . I'm thinking Dave C ? I've got two early CCO's in the 24XX and 25XX range , I believe that makes them second month of production but i have to check for the exact serial number as I'm going from ...

Re: IH Registry Days and Members
I was a member of the old registry and visited the mayor a couple of times back in the day . Met him and Scott C at possum lodge . Even bought from and sold Tony a few cubs back in the day . Don't know what they're up to now . I used to post daily , but rarely post anymore and I sometimes don't chec...

Re: look what followed me home today
I know its a little late asking , but what is the serial number on the original's reduction housing ? Its hard to tell from the picture but it might be a early production one . I say this because I don't see a hole for a creeper , which indicates it may be early . Do you have any more pictures of it ?

Re: Bought a Yellow and white 982 oddball
As Dag said they originally came with the 19.9 Onan engine . They also had INTERNATIONAL CUB CADET on the dash , the later 82's just say CUB CADET . You have the red 982 hood decals and that is the correct red IH serial number tag . I own 4 red 982's so I'm pretty well versed in what should be corre...

Re: Loader Build Help
A front axle and spindle upgrade would be nice , but I've used my stock axle and spindles and never had a problem and I've never overloaded my 48 " bucket .  I've had so much gravel in the bucket that the loader didn't want to go up a slight grade and that's with 400 lbs of wheel weights...

Re: 82 series replacement ignition switch
Not all 82 series use the same switch . The 582 uses a different switch than say a 782 . And it also makes a difference if you have a series one or the later magnum engine in say a 682 or 782 . It depends on if it has a magneto or coiled ignition . There were engine changes made during the productio...

Re: Loader Build Help
Dale a 149 or 169 be a good choice for a loader platform , plenty of power , and especially if you use 1 inch spindles . My Johnson started out on a 1450 and then was moved to a 782 , both good choices except the side panels are a pain to take off and put on with the loader arms in the way . :( I'm ...

Yeah the 70's had a wide diversity of music . Bryan here's some pictures you can show your mom including a picture of what it looked like when I drug it home from your mom and dads place . All that remains is mounting the two golf car side mirrors that I have on order and a good hand polishing . And...

I had to Wikipedia BW Stevenson , didn't know him , I not big on country music . Dag and Cal , I was going for the old skool look . It's a 1974 which happens to be the year I graduated from high school , and Cragar SS chrome mags were all the rage back then . It also has the large holographic metal flake paint that unluckily doesn't photograph very well but sparkles when in the ...

Eric , glad to hear your replacing the brake pedal switch , that is definitely one switch I wouldn't leave jumped , especially if you leave the key in it and have young children . Now the seat switch is a different story . I usually replace them but I might have a couple that PO's have jumped out an...

CD , I'm suspicious of the newer looking red wire with the replacement yellow terminal . Is it possible that they added that wire later to replace the one that's not connected ? Maybe it got pinched or hot .The other end of that red wire goes to the charge indicator ( amp gauge ) and then to the key...

Tom , after all this work I'm keeping it . Besides I'd have a hard time recouping what I've got in it , I was keeping track of what I had in it , but after it got up to $800 I stopped . And that was before I purchased the paint supplies . I've got somewhere between $1000 and $1500 in it , but for wh...

Finally got some time to work on the golf cart . I've spent the last week painting primer , wet sanding and body work. I finally got to put the first couple of coats of paint on it tonight . It still needs a couple more coats of metallic candy apple red . Then let it dry for a week , wet sand it , a...

Re: No oil pressure Kohler M18 Help! Help!!
Mike , its been a while since I've rebuilt a M-18 so bear with me . I know that when you put them back together you have to be very careful with the RTV . A very small bead , like pencil lead size bead so that it doesn't clog oil passages when you put them back together . Was this a rebuilt engine ?

I've started test fitting the body back on the frame before I get to far along . 90% of the bodywork is done and just a few items need addressed before I tear it back down for paint .
