onan starter adjustment

Can anyone provide some guidance on setting the mesh adjustment on an Onan engine? This is the type with the remote solenoid.

I've got one of the ALZ Welding load lifters and they are very slick.

Re: Better Cat 0 lift design?

The hydraulics was going to be the next question. My plan was to buy a JD 4xx H3 setup and do the dual fronts and dual rears using a splitter. Any pics and part numbers would be helpful.

May be need to start a new area called "Building the perfect Cub Cadet"?

Better Cat 0 lift design?

Its almost spring and I am thinking about possible upgrades for the cub. I really, really don't like the fact the front, deck and rear category 0 are all operated together. At a minimum, I want the back lift to be totally separate so I can use a back blade with whatever else is on the tractor. My qu...

Frequent repairs/modifications

Haven't had too much time to troll the site yet, but I have always wanted a section that I can quickly find all the relevant discussions to a specific repair/modifications such as "swapping to CI Rear End". I always found the info after some long searching, but on some of the more complex and common...

Re: 54" Blade on 2082

I've got exactly the same blade on my 1872. My pin fits both as would be expected, so has anyone "customized" your frame? I guess I would just drill out the frame to the same hole size. I wouldn't put a smaller rod in and allow some slop.

I'm back too!

It was an odd turn of events that I found the new site by accident (you weren't hiding it from me were you???). Glad its back! Not sure where we left off, but I own an 1872 with Haban front blade, cat 0 3 point with a forks on the back. Got some ideas for the spring that I am going to want some inpu...
