You "could" leave all the extra programming during an update. But you risk the chance of something not playing well with others and crashing the forum. Add the fact that the forum was out of date, along with the PHP version "thats the engine that runs the show" and all the extra ...

Ok i think i slowed them down. Bots are always an issue, but lately bigtime. New bot has been introduced called ClaudeBot this is a AI bullshit. combining the web for info and slowing everything down. Re: Cub Cadet 2284 wont stay running and running out of options.

Another thing i would look at is the connections at the key switch. this series tractor was prone to having problems there with melted corroded connections. A problem there could cause loss of power to the fuel shutoff solenoid on the carburetor. Not sure if the symptoms follow this path or not. but...

Been lazy on this but the site costs are starting to add up here. I reset the counter. Could use some funds to keep it going. With the lack of posts here for almost 3 months. Yea, thats been out there for awhile. In the early years Mark had everything raw coded in HTML and thats all easily viewable. at some point he switched things to a PHP i think based system pulling from a database. that info cant be viewed any longer.

New WYSIWUG editor installed.

Hi all,

I installed a WYSIWUG editor that seems to work properly. upto this point none of them seemed to function well
WYSIWUG  =  what you see is what you get

IE no more <tag> etc.

You can bold italic underline etc. Just like you would in Word or your email

Try it out

I feel like i have always had better luck with diggin down the bottom of my junk engine parts drawer and pulling out a nice old Delco Embossed coil with already attached oem kohler condenser vintage 1960 1970. Seems like i always end up fighting with new stuff. I think i have even had brand new kohl...

Re: GT 3200 - year 2006

The transmissions on these 3000 series had numorious problems. The gear inside the charge pump explodes causing all functions to stop! Also some of these were prone to the differentials blowing up when the diff lock is used improperly. Keep the engines clean, if oil starts to leak the engine fins co...

According to this service bulletin. early charge pump pressure was 500 to 625 psi and was increased to 800 to 900psi during the 782 era. http://www.cubcadetcollectors.com/forum/app.php/dlext/details?df_id=358 I would have to think a 1650 would fall into the 500 to 625 range, unless they made another...

Tom is hitting everything on the money. they can be tricky to diagnose. And to top it off they can also trick you into thinking you have a good connection. Testing things with a Volt meter can sometimes show a good 12 volts at a test location- most people are like ok i got 12 volts there im good rig...

Ive heard these comments from years past. It may be a thing for the pullers. would have to ask some of those guys. Id be slightly concerned with clearance from the head to the piston. Ive always run the good metalic heat gasket, sprayed with copper coat. Along with a good true head, top of block cle...

Myself and joe went out on a mission many many years ago to make harnesses. we started with the ones that were the biggest problems. 1x67 and 1x89 due to the cloth covered wires... we sourced all new wire, ends, plastics everything. We later expanded and made harnesses for original to QL series. At ...
