I have been trying to look at the belt cross reference guides without any luck. I have a 1450 with an A1 tiller and cannot figure out the size of belt for the short belt on the back or the lomg belt that runs under the mower from the front pto. i advice would be very helpful. thanks in advance, mike

any one have any trick for freeing up a stuck clutch without removing in. i have adjusted it but still always turns the dive shaft and all the springs and bearing seem good. thanks in advance for any help. mike in illinois

Thanks to some info from PAUL B. got to looking at motor and it was cast 5/15/1947. with motor serial number #728. so it was june of 1947. without serial number on the tractor.....would there be any records of tractors by serial number sent to dealers. Almost positive it was McLean, Minier, or Heywo...

best advice i got! get rid of balance gears. have a 127 that the gears got enough wear that they actually vibrated enough for it to break oil dipper into three piece. which soon made for a quiet death....(no pieces shot out block) . my son said i did not do anything!...really it just stopped and wil...

well opened it up, about half the exhaust lobe on the cam was worn away. i thing valve got very,very hot and locked it over time. so much for grinding the valve and being done. it would start and run at low rpm. but try to run it up and choked itself, backfired, and all kinds of nasty sounds. oh the...
