Re: kohler carb

That's one of the great things about this board, there are those like me who want to know and those that do who are willing to share it so we can learn and enjoy ...

Re: Your first cub cadet

Our first started my Craigslist addiction lol! I own a tractor repair shop specializing in older IH tractors. Well one day my 4 yr old said he wanted a tractor his size to work on. So I got to looking on Craigslist and found an ad for one in a nearby town. Went and found a pretty nice 125 not runnin...

Re: Low Compression vs. Carb issue

Silly question but do you have a good flow of fuel to the carb? If it ran fine before it is unlikely you have a compression issue. Pulling the choke richens the mixture which is keeping it running. Either you have an air leak, blocked fuel passages, or a weak spark imo.

Did they sell the majority of cub cadets in the northeast? I only wish that there was as much stuff available here as there is out there. Anyway looks like a nice package!

A few questions???

1. Is a kt-17 out of a 317 jd the same as the kt-17 in a 682? 2. what is a 682 which appears to be in pretty good condition less the engine worth? My father in law has an overhauled 317 engine and i found a 682 less engine and was wondering if i had a match ;) 3. I recently transferred a kohler 12 h...

Re: Trunion Repair

What do they act like when the trunnions get worn like that? They try to kill you! They would love nothing better than to try and throw you off or run into a tree or a ditch or the house or the dog or your wife's prize flower bed (which, in that case, can get you killed twice!) by picking up speed ...
