Re: 127 lives!
Dave, it's a 12 year old photo. Yes, they have become very pricey as time has gone on. The time to buy one is when you see it. It took me years to gather up the many missing parts for that one, members here were for a great help with that. They are very strong units and will lift a 42 inch thrower w...

Yes, the hydro lift is a direct bolt on for the 1X6,7 series. with no drilling of holes in the frame required, they are already there. DSCN2811.JPG However, the PTO activation shaft must be bent mid section at a ten degree angle for it all to clear and fit. It can be a bit tricky to assemble as well...

Those thrower feet look like the ones that Extreme offers except that they appear larger.

Re: First mow pics
I had the 128 with it's 38 mower deck stored under our deck for seven months. Of course it had been covered and the whole machine was sprayed down with WD40 prior to covering it up. Also, it had been run out of gas and the tank had been emptied. I hooked the gas lines, filled with fresh gas, slapped...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
I sure hope that it does not snow any more this season. I took off my Winter tires and wheels off the 102 and mounted on the Ag tires in getting ready for spreading around the new stone. I'm trying not to snap any more axles, and those two link chains and 156 pounds of wheel weights will do it. This...

Tom requests that folks post more often. Ok. Yes Charlie, absolutely a paved surface is much easier to clean off and maintain. Around here there is something of a counter culture symbol that's associated with regard to paving over and most local people can tend to look upon it with a level of distai...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
These are some pretty lousy photos I know. They are a fitting closure to this crappy Winter. DSCN1980.JPG DSCN1982.JPG I'm glad that I traveled the 110 miles. I had pulled of at a park and ride due West of Montpelier along with around a hundred others. When the eclipse went total it was as though so...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
My in laws who are about 15 miles due South of the Whitehouse Station epicenter reported a tissue box falling off a table. For the eclipse there are many assorted North South routes to travel. The first point to observe will be traffic patterns on the interstate before making the call. Also, it is t...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
Hi Joe, yeah we got about ten inches of that and sure enough 24 hours later half of it was gone. It was that previous storm on the 23rd that caused me the most trouble. I had shoveled off the deck at least 7 times. I'd clean and ten minutes later more snow would cascade off the roof. By that time I ...

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
And the grand total is
This is more than the entire Winter produced.
Funny how it stayed at 11 1/2 yesterday for the longest time while actively snowing, it must have been packing down.
The resort close by us reported 27 inches but they do have quite a bit more elevation going on.

Re: Winter Snow and Storm Pics
We had quite quite a mild Winter this year with much of it consisting of warmer than usual temperatures and more rain than normal. While the Northern ski resorts did not have their best of years ever they could have done worse off as well. Plunging temps allowed many to continue running their snow m...

Now this is pretty cool. The executors of the estate where that S-119 came from were going through a bunch of stuff and turned up the factory owners and service manual. Tom, much of that saga is over. After fifteen years of fighting back against the excess water run off and with the neighbor saying oh there's a pipe there to take of that, someone bothered checking to see if it was actually doing anything. Well guess what. DSCN1512.JPG DSCN1513.JPG I don't know what...
