Re: Ohio Plowday and new to me Cub Cadet

As promised........... 169 1 (Small).JPG after some simple green and a little scrubbin......... 169 clean (Small).JPG The 169 now starts and runs nicely. Hydro works like it should and is very quiet. Typical steering play. Mower deck doesn't want to turn but I'm not worried about it right now. and a...

Ohio Plowday and new to me Cub Cadet

Chris and I made it home from the Gonya Plowday safely. I will get pics of the new to me 169 posted tomorrow, it was dark when I got home so I didn't take any pics tonight.

I think Chris brought at least 100 pounds of mud back with the SVT Cub. Should be fun for HIM to clean up tomorrow.

Re: It happened again

Rick Harris and Jess Laws ALWAYS told me that a Cub Cadet collection wasn't complete without an 82 series......... They tricked me into believing that and I bought a 582 of course I bought it for $75 and now it sits in my garage taking up valuable real estate!

That was me backing it on the trailer. Trying to line it up and center it as I look through the fuzzy part of my bifocals.

Big tractor weekend

There was a small local antique show about a mile from my house at a city park this weekend. I have a 1938 F20 that has been buried in the back of the barn for at least six years and the kids talked me into digging it out. After a couple of hours of work it was out in the daylight and running. 140 (...

Hey Paul.........I have a 100 I bought off you a while back, would you like to............ Just kidding. I have plans for it.

Nice haul.

Does that ag tire have a mate? Is it a 8.50? I have a lonely 8.50 ag up here in Ohio looking for a mate.

I just put a pair of V61's on my 127 and was wondering what you guys/gals think about them on a narrow frame. I have a 1650 they could go on too.

Had a text message with a pic of a 100 yesterday. Since it was Fathers day and I had a day full of plans I didn't respond until today. Well a few text messages later and Chris and I are in the truck to make the 25 mile trip to pick it up. This little hunnert isn't pretty but after about 10 minutes o...

Just showing off Chris's school project he has been working on two nights a week since last September. chris's engine.jpg This engine started out life as a 400 ci Ford V8 in the late 70's. That is close. Less than 15 minutes from my house. I think one quietline at a time is enough anyway. And I traded my spare set of QL side panels to a guy in northern Ky ;-)

Re: Cub 800

An 800 from my neck of the woods? You can have it. I'm too busy chasing down all the rattles and squeaks on the ONLY QL I own. This 1650 creates a new noise every time I think I have stopped one. But the K341 does run nice and has plenty of power. ;-)

In the narrow frame lineup you forgot the 105, 123, 124 and 125.

In the wide frame/ QL lineup you forgot the 109 and 800. ;-)

Re: Cover your ears Vince!

OK so I finally got around to taking a pic of the ONLY QL in the shed. A year and a half and more dollars than I care to admit in the purchase/rebuild but it cut grass tonight! The 50" deck sounds like a threshing machine and probably wouldn't stand up to full time mowing duty but the K341 in the 16...

Cover your ears Vince!

After a year and a half of being apart and scattered all over my garage, I have a running Qu....Qu....Quietline. ( that is really hard for me to say) A 1650. I had the K341 bored 20 over so its all new inside. Starts easy and runs nice, I just need to put the electric pto and front grill/hood back o...

Can someone out there in Cubland please post a pic of the top of the K341 in their 1650. Mine has been out well over a year and I forgot which hole the stud goes in for the head.

Thanks, Cal

I think I know who your son in law is. If his name is Ryan and they live in a two story house that was completely renovated before they moved in, they live in the house I grew up in. There is a storage shed there that will house extra cubs. ;-)
