Back at it.
After laying out from shows and plow days for several years, I was getting bored with sitting around and doing not much of anything. I took a trip down to the coast to see my sisters and make my donation to the casinos a few days ago. My BIL was showing me around their place when I spotted something...

I'm just now reading of Bill's passing. I've been away too long!
It was an honor to have met him in person. Quite a remarkable fellow.
RIP Geezer... You are missed by so many.

You could show them just how well built IH tractors are by using
the pics of some of your episodes on a CC... or, maybe not.

I was able to tuck a 42" CI end deck under my 147 by modifying the pin-on hdwe to QA.
I still cannot believe I sold that tractor with the deck on it!

Where do you store the ramps, on the trailer, when not in use?

Re: BBQ Smoker
atwrk,
you probably have a New Braunfels smoker. It looks just like mine and you do need an adjustable
cap on the stack to control the temp with it and the damper on the fire box. Invest in a good temp gauge also.

I've seen some GM engines with 5.0 or 5.7 cast into the rear of the block near the distributor.

America's Toughest Truck
The show "Top Gear" on The History Channel is attempting to prove what the toughest truck in America is by driving through Alaska to a remote glacier in older Ford, Dodge and Chevy pickups. The three yahoos have a lot of fun with their rides and don't baby them. I saw the show last night, but it loo...

Great design and build but, for $90.00 it'd take an awful lot of stuck steering wheels to justify it. JMHO

Re: 50th Annivesary Model
I think they could have done a much better design... especially for a 50th Anniversary model. Either designers (ALL designers) have run out of ideas or they are just lazy and have no imagination. Hell, that goes for TV/Movie producers also. Sequels and look alikes are the best they can come up with....
