Yep glass bowl filter.
I replaced all the gaskets when I changed my fuel filter.
It might be one of them things you need to check every couple of weeks.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm not the only one it happens to.

Fuel Filter 1782

I have been having a problem with the fuel filter losing up on my 1782. About every couple of months I will smell diesel. And check my fuel filter. And it has a small drip. I tighten it back up and it will be fine for another couple of months, Filter was replaced not that long ago. Anyone have any s...

Re: 129 question.....

I have seen a couple 129's with hydraulic lift. One for sure I know came from the factory with a hydraulic lift. The other ones I am not sure.

Some years back I replaced the non ported pump on my 129. And added a ported pump and hydraulic lift. Which I feel was a good move!!

John
Below is the part number and also the belt size.
IH 55053 C1 15/32 X 30"

And when you put the belt on tighten it as tight as you can get it. Run it for a bit and re-tighten it.

Winter is coming

Paul R It's starting up. Time to get the mower decks off and get the Blades and blowers ready. A COLD NORTHWEST FLOW OVER THE GREAT LAKES WILL PRODUCE THE FIRST SNOW ACCUMULATION OF THE SEASON TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY. A MINOR ACCUMULATION OF LESS THAN AN INCH IS LIKELY IN MOST LOCATIONS...WITH I...

Ray
This picture was taken from Pine Creek area last Saturday. Some spots the leaves had more color.
With the frost we had the other morning. I would think this weekend would be good before the strong winds.
But I'm not sure how the foliage is further south.

Re: Continuous Thread Shooting The Breeze, Just Like Old Tim

Myself I like the separate threads. For the reasons that Paul stated. For me it makes it easier to track the posts. Before sometimes a post would get lost in the shuffle. And never get answered. I like the individual threads because you can follow the replies or post to those you are interested in w...
