I was there with Butch Bankert with my 105 and 147, it was a very good display of all brands including a large number of odd brands. I was told they had near 500 garden tractors on display.

Jeff if all you want to do is test the hydro hook it up to a 1/2" electric drill, run it the same way as the engine turns and work all the controls.

Definitly my 147 good power and plenty of weight to do all my plowing, cultivating, snow removal work, and will tow more than twice its weight.

Just had a new experience yesterday, I am now being chauffered around as Ariel got her learners permit and is doing all the driving now. So to all the cubbers in the north-east md area beware.

Eddie thenks for the heads up an acre wont last very long with very many garden tractors, tell them you could get enough tractors together and ask for 10-15 acres

Steve that looks pretty good and the price is good, when I got Ariels BN for 1200 a junk A was bringing 1500. They all need battery boxes, throttle plates(the teeth are always worn off) and wiring work.

I've got 2x8 ramps and don't trust them for too much weight next time i will use 2x8 sawmill lumber that is a true 2"

Yes I will let all my local GT plowing friends know and see if we can get a group to come down.
Got rhe small repairs done on the 1650 and it runs great tilled the garden today and alls well though i think i will have to pull the fender pan this fall and do a trunion repair on the hydro

Matt still a pretty neat find, that thing probably mowed its share of lawn while the park service had it. Did you look at the list of parks serviced in that link, makes alot of sense

Bought a nice QA42A off E-Bay the other day about 15 miles from home. Very good condition ready for snow(not until winter) for $132 couldn't pass it up

Dave I had a co-worker at one time that had a wheel horse with a similar transaxle and he would replace those keys about once a year because it wouldn't stay in gear.

Tried mine out tonight worked great, pulled a rusted wheel off a parts "O" at Steve T's after the kids 4-H meeting. Turned the puller down tight and smacked it with a hammer and off it came,less than 5 minutes, Thanks again Mike
