Just installed a china carb on an 8hp original. runs perfect now. I attempted to clean the old carb. all the holes plugged solid with bad gas.... got mad and pushed it to back of workbench.! For me i do like the original carbs... but sometimes just not worth it. i think china carb cost me 10 bucks. ...

Yes garden tractor batteries are U1 size... and there is also an L or an R for left or right positive... for the most part it doesnt matter.
If all you do is mow with it i would get a mid sized cranking amp rating... if you use it in the winter i would find the highest CCA rating u can find!

Changed Image EXIF upload system.... all images uploaded from mobile should now show correctly. and not sideways.... both android and iphone.... any existing images are not fixed... this only works from here out.

Yes So officially the line was transferred to CCC June 1st 1981. The line of tractors more or less morphed in a slow transition. The "82" series which included a LOT of models. more then just ones ending in 82 like the 782. but also includes ones ending in 10, 11, 12 and a few others. like 1711. 181...

So yes the project consisted of. 129 Donor tractor Kubota engine from Refer Unit Dual Brakes from super dual spool valve(with float) from JD 318 front and rear ports power steering from cyclops new radiator (fits mini cooper) the old overseas version fuel tank from 7hp cub cadet front axle from 1440...

I have updated the Download Extension to the latest version. That makes the New links show correctly. however it did not fix OLD links. SO ANY OLD links to download in old posts made before january 2020 WILL NOT WORK. I am sorry for the inconvenience. im trying to see if i can at least redirect them...

OHH i know then.... Yes any bookmarked links to the downloads from before the upgrade will no longer work.
Links within old posts currently don't work. however i have a fix for that i think.

The system uses a different file structure now.

I added a neat addition (in my mind). This leaves the navigation bar at the top for easy access at all times.

Not sure there are any other major differences in early vs later 100's only thing i know is the battery box. and not sure when that changed. Maybe pull the engine serial number that may help get slightly closer to a year. Cant remember about the steering wheels. i thought they were all the same. try...

Yes i finally updated the Colours.css to include some of our favorite colors.... yellow and white.. Still a little tinkering there to do. Anyone having issues not seeing things be sure to purge your browsers cache... or history. Also i got the site logo back up. Fixed the thumbnails in the documents...

Im still working on it.... damn documents section is just killing me we were so far behind on updates.... i hate to have to put all 360 files back in one by one..... but it is a possiblity at this point. I have a few more ideas... stay tuned. thanks

Ok still working here.... have had a slight glitch on the documents.... but working on it. I have restored the cub FAQ page.... about 80 percent. some things pointed to downloads that dont exist yet... but the basics are up. link is up top next to the FAQ for now. until i get a better button system....
