Re: Main shaft

So a rear PTO top shaft is different then a std topshaft, for the rear pto topshaft tje shaft extends into the rear differential case about 1 inch or so and is piloted and splined so you can shift the pto in and out. A STD top shaft doesnt have this part so there is no way to support or drive the pt...

Re: Main shaft

Yes the main top shaft is the same for all narrow frames. i think even the wide frames. the only one thats different is the Original. The one for the rear pto is different then a standard top shaft.

Re: Forum Ownership up for grabs

Tim, So most of the nuts and bolts are kept in a Database. Databases are limited in size. Thats the problem we just had is we ran out of room. So i think alot of sites either dump old info or Archive it to keep the database from overloading. My guess is most of them just dump it. Thinking back to th...

Re: Sorry for the outage!

Ok, Well i don't think it ultimately had anything to do with the billing issue.... I looked hard for several days trying to see what happened. Scott was busy so i was having trouble getting ahold of him. I did come to the conclusion that we were not able to post any new data to the Database. I manag...

Johnson Loader piston rebuild

Well after a few years of using my newly built 882 diesel with johnson workhorse loader. i have been disappointed by the cylinders leaking down within seconds with minimal load. and not really being able to dig much. So After some hard digging for new cylinders, all came up short. I decided to try a...

I was almost certain that one of the 782D cables was no longer available. But looking at Messicks it seems like both may be still available.

Re: Power steering box

Ok i actually found a kit i had bought god knows when and got the swapout done... i hope. I think the people of ROSS must have been slightly crazy cause it seems pretty much impossible to reassemble the unit as the way they say you should. The 2nd to last step of putting the 2nd set of 3 springs int...

Re: Forum Ownership up for grabs

Were looking into purchasing a new Server here to migrate it to. It would only be a one time cost to me and then i could host it from my work here in CT. we have enough bandwidth i think and looks like we will be upgrading that soon also.

Re: Power steering box

So there isnt anything left of anything rubber or plastic left in this box. the needle bearing is pretty bad also. What i ultimately need is a Super box for a super im building. 450 451 idler pulley

Anybody know where to get a good aftermarket replacement for the Idler pulleys? I am moving my 450 from my super to my 1862 and during the belt replacement I noticed 1 of my idlers is shot. Looked on Cub parts and its 43 bucks each. and the part number doesn't come up with any direct stens or anythi...

Special RARE combination hedge trimmer and lawn mower!

LOL brought in a 102 to part out a few days ago and droped the cast end deck off, and the deck felt really funny. so i removed the subframe and the deck was just crumbling infront of me. So i then folded the deck in HALF by HAND!!!

Re: Creeper gear dissaembly

After you get the big snap ring out from the front then the whole mess comes out all at once. There is an O-ring in there which is why it does not wanna move easily
