Re: 3205 with a BIG snow blower!

I love it! We getting a 3K club going here! lol Paul R will have one next! I doubt that, I don't trust that new modern stuff. HeHe If you ever found one close in good shape for a good price I doubt you'd ever mow with anything else. These are a lot like the 82 series tractors. The briggs ...

Re: THE 3240 thread

So Yesterday I decide to get the Cubs ready for snow duty.... Yeah I know late in the Season BB! I came home and switched tires from 3240#2 to the GT3200 that has the blower on it. I also put the weight bracket and weights on the rear. I also put the blade on 3240#1 and the weight bracket etc on it....

Re: 2086 troubles

Joe, if this machine is the 2086 with the Kawi FD620 engine it you probably are having issues with the igniter. I had the same issue on my 3205 this summer. I could slightly pull and twist the harness coming out of the box and it would run fine. Some people say that the connections fail inside of i...

Re: Road trip to Indiana

Yes Bryan ? Me and that guy Steve finally got a day off together and he came by Sunday and picked up your 82 series front end parts . We talked for an hour or more about the cyclops to 82 series front end conversion and he liked all my other toys . This cold weather and my work sure has slowed all ...

Re: THE 3240 thread

Makes me want to find one too !!!! Can the blower be power angled too? Or is there a lock of some short keeping it in the straight on postion? It could be, but I bet it would destroy the pto shaft. There is a manual angle "cyl" that goes in where the hydraulic cyl goes when the blower is on, or if ...

Re: THE 3240 thread

Looks great Steve! Glad to see you got that on there, and also that it works once you got it home! These tractors have always been out of reach for me price wise. Not that I couldn't afford them, but I certainly wasn't going to pay as much as they cost 10 years ago. Now they are getting some age on ...

Vince ole buddy thanks for the update. While I'm not as involved with the tractors as I once was (although I still have too many) I thoroughly enjoy some of the friends I have made because of them. I was reading through Hank's Cub Cadet book again just this morning and happened upon the picture of G...

Yep, gonna either do a rebuild or maybe replace the engine if I run across the correct replacement.
