Joe Got ya. How are the Connecticut boys doing up there? I'm tired of this crappy weather. Good thing the loader is here to make snow piles about 7 feet tall.

Was it a 42" and made into a 54"? Whats with the different heights of the blade or is it just an illusion?

Paul, I would use graphite which is more of a dry lube. Oily lube will attract dirt. I've tried to get a spray in there before with no luck.I cleaned it twice before replacing it with a new one. I've put in a new starter I think it was a DR starter on ebay. It got good reviews. It's been it there 2 ...

Look on craigslist for quad take offs. I buy them all the time. Last set of 4 was $100 for new take offs.

kevin, here's a pix of the pump bracket I made. I've slotted a couple holes for adjustment as you said. The pump pulley is about 3 to 4 inches I will measure for you in the next couple days. the belt is not that tight because you have almost 3/4 of the belt engauged so it should not slip on you. Min...

The triangular tube was not cut when I did mine. That's how I determined where I was going to put the upright. I think you might be alright in the middle of the foot rest. If I ever take the loader off I will push it forward about the same area as you mentioned.

Kevin,
No problem make sure the subframe is forward enough to get the weight right. wish I had put mine a little more forward. Also make sure you have the support rods from the upright to the front. Here a couple side pixs.

That is camber. Not sure what the correct spec is, but sounds like you have a bent spindle. I would think it should only be couple degres for turning.

Re: Tire size
I put 26x12x12 under my 149 loader. I had to shim up the fender pan 1/4". I also got wider wheels. The 1811 got 26x10x12 without mods. I paid $100 for 4 new tires (take offs of a quad) off of craigslist. I've gotten 3 sets off of there so far. More then enough traction.

Re: garage/shop ventalation
Most of the carbs are self venting so I think your always going smell gas. But do check for a gas leak. It's like 1 or 2 drops is going to stink the whole place up. I would also put in a CO detector if you haven't already. As for venting gable end vents or fans with louvers. Ridge vent if positble. ...
