Jeff It's your tractor do what you want with it! I have power steering on my 1872 and love it great for everything I do. I also like the two turn gear box that my 1806 has in it. I recently parted a 1862 and it was a big dollar tractor in prices. It too was very rough the torch was my friend here! S...

In a word DRY. Be sure to tap the holes in the block surface the head even if you just use glass and sand paper. A file over the taped holes as often times you will find a high spot, from the threes pulling out. Also after 20 minutes of run time, pull the gas tank back off and re-torque the head blo...

Paul About 5 years ago I restored a model 2000 Mryon Bounds from Texas was very helpfully with Info and a scnded copy of a owners manual. I can't ID a 1200 or model 5 but the 2000 was single axles 6x10 trailer it should have 18-8.50x8 tires on 4 lug rims. I sold mine about 2 years ago I was storing ...

We still don't know what deck you have so we can't be sure on that I belive 1/2-78 would work for the mule dive belt. As for the deck belt I'm not sure with out knowing the width of cut. I'm almost positive the starter uses a 1/2 x31 1/2 belt gates sells them that size. If I remember ill look tonigh...

I weighed my 782d at ft Allen one year, I want to say it was around 1150 but it was set up to plow with about 150 lbs of wheel weights the cat 0 3 pt and the plow itself. The plow is about 100-150 lbs. so I'm guessing about 900 with no atchments or weights.....

I was going to wait too butttttt.... A 100 with a fresh engine can push a 48 no problem I've done it. Can't mow 12 inch high grass in second though, i've tried! I'm not sure they ever made the correct mule drive for a N/F for the 44 and 50 inch decks. If they did i'm sure it wouldn't be easy to find...

Re: 129 HYDRASTATIC DRIVE ???
It sounds to me more like the bushing for the friction adjustment. There are two types used on the 129. One used a lock nut on the bottom of the shaft that the shifter is mounted to. The other had a bushing on the bottom of the same shaft. It should be slotted and there is a Allen headed bolt that w...

Brian First off welcome! has the wire harness been replaced? The 1x6/7's have been known for bad wiring. Harnesses can be had from a number of sources, e-pay being the easiest. The ground to the battery ground on the starter bracket should be in the harness. If an OEM harness is in there it should b...

1650 with a 450 blower???
I have a friend here in town who is thinking of selling his 1650 and getting a newer walk behind commercial type mower. In a discussion about keeping his fully refurbished 1650, he said that the biggest reason is lack of being able to use it in the snow. He had a qa42A and later a 42" plow but neith...

Looks like your post should be in the wanted section, but thats ok......
They are shippable, i've had good luck braking them down into two boxes, shipping is the killer, that and i'm out of stock at the moment..... Keep your eyes open on here or on e-pay one will pop up!

the part number for the gasket is 921-3004. You will need to remove the transmission from the rear after the rear is removed from the frame. Be carful and only take the transmission off the rear and not apart.
